Torchwood

Oswald's sole purpose was to be a way for the writers to point out the evil that supposedly exists in Jack. i.e., they've both deliberately killed little children, therefore they are somehow kindred spirits and recognize something in each other. personally I think RTD is over-reaching when he goes for these grand concepts.

I think RTD isn't so much over reaching as off his nut. He's completely lost it and has no sense of proportion, or much of anything else.

The more I think about the ending the stupider it is.

W T F with Rex?! Why would they kill of Esther and save Rex? And really, why did it take so long for his immortality/healing to manifest? Surely, that would have occurred earlier whether before or after the destruction of the Blessing... you know... gaping holes in chests on heal over smoothly!!

COME ON!

Well, maybe
they're using the Highlander principle, which is that you don't get the fast-healing or non-aging abilities until you've died once.
...nahh. You're right. It's stupid.
