Triple G Appreciation thread

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope everything is going well for you out in the desert. I take it that the weather is still pleasant, and not too hot yet.

(*8*) Good evening, John.

The weather has been playing around the 100F mark this week, but never reached it. Right now, it's 97, but will be dropping to the 70s for the weekend. :wheee: You are no doubt have hot, humid weather with lots of rain.

Stay dry and don't sweat too much.

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I see your weather is going up and down, and I'm sure you appreciate your cooler weather. We're still getting some cold fronts coming through here. It got up to 90 with lots of wind on Thursday, but now we're having cool nights, temps down to around 60, and highs up to about 80, and dry. Actually it's beginning to get pretty dry, with no rain expected through at least next week.

The hot and muggy weather will be here to stay for sure when our rainy season starts in May. They're saying there's going to be lots of hurricanes due to the La Niña they're expecting. I'd just as soon keep the El Niño weather pattern through the summer, since it's supposed to be disruptive for hurricanes.

Hope you have a good pew duty day tomorrow!

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are having a lovely weekend, and will have a great pew day tomorrow.

I’m okay, but have been having trouble with flying ants in my kitchen. I’m doing various things to try and get them exterminated.

(*8*) Good evening, Rob, John, RM

Hurry to Wendy's. It's FRYday all this month with free fries. So I say happy Fri-yay :giggle:

We have been hitting 96 to 99 for the last month, but yesterday it finally hit 100 melt.gif

It will be onward and upward from now on. thermometer-measuring-levels-emergency-topped-word-measures-problem-mercury-rising-past-31864550.jpg

Good Sunday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Uh oh, it looks like your hot summer weather has arrived! It's getting hot over here, with the temps pushing 90 and the humidity going up. We're supposed to have thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening, then the temps are supposed to drop to about 80 for highs and upper 60s for lows. I'm sure that's going to be our last pleasant weather before the really hot and humid weather settles in.

Have a great pew duty day!

(*8*) Good afternoon,

It hit 104 yesterday and was 91 at 9AM this morning. Enjoy the last of reasonable your weather.

Pew duty was good, and the cleaning lady was here in the afternoon. The house shines and smells so good.

Good Friday morning, Gary (*8*)

I'm sorry you're already having your summer heat. You must be miserable. The weather here has been surprisingly mild for late April. It warmed up a bit yesterday, but the weather forecast still says we're going to have highs of only about 80 degrees for the next few days. It has been very dry, which is nice, but if it continues it could be a problem. It just means I need to make sure that I keep up my watering schedule.

I'm sure you're enjoying having that cleaning lady taking care of the chores lately so you can relax.

(*8*) Good afternoon, John, Rob and RM

Surprise, our weather has cooled into the 80s for the next few days. :giggle: and will be under 100 for the near future.

It is great having the house clean.

Happy Friday, Gary. (*8*) I’m glad the temperature has cooled down a bit for a few days. I hope you have had a great week, and will have a relaxing weekend.

I’m okay, apart from my wounded finger - full details are to be found in RM’s thread. I don’t think I will get far on the bike over the weekend owing to all the rain which is forecast.

(*8*) Good afternoon Nine Finger Rob.

Hope that finger is healed soon. You need this for the rain.

Good Tuesday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope your weather is still fairly mild, and not too hot. Right now it is pouring rain outside as I type. We could use the rain, as it has been dry most of April, but right now it's getting excessive. Any more rain will just run into the canals and flow out into the ocean.

(*8*) Good morning, John, you dancing around the May Pole this morning?

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I really didn't have a Maypole to dance around on May 1, but I vaguely remember we did that back In kindergarten. I've kind of felt that the first of May really should be a holiday.

I hope everything is going well for you, that your weather is still not too hot, that your cleaning lady has kept you house sparkling, and that you have a good pew duty day tomorrow.

(*8*) It's Star Wars Day, May the Forth be with you **wars**

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Is it getting too hot for you yet out in the desert? It has certainly gotten hot over here, with temps around 90 and humidity, but dry. It's supposed get even hotter, up to the mid- 90s by Friday, and then chances of thunderstorms start on Saturday into next week, but only slightly cooler. I'm afraid our summer weather has started.

I hope you're doing well, and your cleaning lady is keeping your house immaculate.

(*8*) Good afternoon, John

Thanks for sticking with me. This week has been painful as the bursitis in the left arm has been very painful especially when typing. In case you didn't know, my right hand was amputated in a boat racing accident and was rebuilt leaving me with limited use. So, when the left arm is limited by pain, I do not get much done. The pain meds did not work earlier this week, but now the pain is gone. It's time to get back to normal.

The house is very clean which helps.

We are still in the 90s but will be warming next week. Not looking forward to the coming heat. They are saying this summer will be very hot, if not the hottest on record.

Hope the storms are staying away from you.

Hi, Gary. (*8*) sorry to hear about your right hand, hopefully they did a good job of rebuilding it. I’m sure they did. I’m sorry you’ve had Bursitis in your left arm. I’m glad you are now in no pain. I hope the weather will not get too hot.

Well, I’m okay, but a friend is now in hospital with a nervous breakdown. They have him on new meds so hopefully he will improve soon.

Here’s a bit of silliness from the dvd forum I belong…;) It’s a reference to where the toilet is. :p:lol:

“Straight on the left, then right past the thing, then, up the little stairs, then right by where it's gone all soft, then down the wobbly bit, past the nail, past the brown stain on the wall to your right...”
