Triple G Appreciation thread

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're getting at least some minimal relief from the heat. I see someone else from California posted that it finally cooled off, but I suspect that doesn't mean the relief has reached you out in the desert. Are you still doing folder duty? I remember that it was usually on Wednesday or Thursday.

(*8*) Good afternoon, John, RM, Rob, Thad, Dan

Yes, indeed the heat is easing off. Starting Sunday, we will be in the 90s for a week, but back to the low 100s after that. Right now, it's 97.

After dark yesterday I sat on the back porch and watched the rabbits feed. It was very pleasant with cool breeze. Soon I may be able to get an enjoyable shower.

Usually when there are major fires on the coast, we get heavy smoke, but this time that high pressure that is keeping us hot is blocking the smoke from getting to us.

The pastor has not completed the masters for the folders yet. We will be making them tomorrow.

Happy Fri-yay eve.

Good Wednesday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I'm glad you're starting to get a little cooler out in the desert, and you can take a pleasantly cool shower. It sounds like you might even get a bit of nice sleeping weather at night.

(*8*) Goid afternoon, John

Yesterday I enjoyed a long shower with perfect tempurature water. This cool weather will be with us until Sunday when we return to the low 100s. Right now we are at 89. bath 3.jpg

Good Monday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I know you're sorry that Paul (dynx) has passed away. It sounds like you guys had a great online relationship, and that you were lucky enough to meet in person. My sympathies.

I'm glad you're finally having cooler weather, and that you can now take comfortable showers. Let's hope it doesn't heat up again too much. Down here the thermometer still keeps stubbornly going up to 90-91 degrees every day with the humidity. The weather people are starting to make noises about a tropical system developing to the south of us and coming toward Florida later in the week, bridging lots of rain and wind. We'll see how that goes.

Good Monday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're dealing with your desert heat OK, and that you'll get some relief soon. It was a bye week for the Gators, so I didn't pay a lot of attention to football, but I noticed that both your Holy Men and USC won. As for the Gators, it's almost getting to the point where I breathe a sigh of relief, because at least they didn't lose!

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Wow, it looks like you're stuck in that relentless heat out there, it's sticking around and just won't go anywhere! I hope you're staying cool indoors and enjoying your entertainment setup. Eventually it will pass, but that heat is just not giving up.

Good Friday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're getting some relief from the heat. Well, I got just a glancing blow from Milton, I'm doing OK. But it has pulled some slightly cooler air in. Right now it's 73, which we haven't seen since April, and it's only going up to the mid 80s. Not much, but we've learned to take any relief we can.

(*8*) Good afternoon, Dan and John.

I sure was glad to see Miss Foxy, I was missing her, a lot.

Are heat is improving. About 105 until next week when it will be in the 90s and 80s.

Dan, how did you come out to the storm? No damage, I hope.

 The news of Don Q's passing just reached me. Too many deaths lately. I feel so alone and very sad. I shall miss him greatly.

Gary...yeah. I just learned that a long-ago friend, Joe, passed away last autumn. I found from Outsports.com that the Philadelphia Eagles honored a "last wish" of his. Joe was a football fan and we even went to an Army-Navy game once.
So we hold on, with good memories.

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I'm sorry to hear that Don Quixote passed away. It seems we're losing all our JUBBER friends. :(

It sounds like you're finally getting some cooler air in the desert. It's probably downright pleasant, and I'm sure you're enjoying it.

I'm finally restoring my computer, after they wiped out everything during the repairs. As it turns out, linking it with my iPhone has been a lifesaver. I would have been unable to access my internet account, emails, saved pics and word files, passwords, any of that without it.
