I'm sorry to hear that you were sick with the flu, but I'm glad you're better now. Hopefully it wasn't that Chinese Bat Fever you had a while back.

I hope it hasn't been too cold for you lately. It has warmed up nicely here, after last week's cold and rainy weather. I saw one of those prognostication maps for February, and they show it being warm for Florida in February. But you know how those go, you'd might as well flip a coin if you want to know what the weather in the future is going to be like.
 
Speaking of Chinese Bat Fever, I finally caught it five years into the pandemic. Yep, I've been sick with nasty cold-like symptoms, with a lot of coughing, sneezing, etc. This morning one of the guys I went to the movies with last week texted me, saying he and the other guy got sick, and both tested positive for Covid. So I bought a kit, and sure enough, it came back positive. I went to a walk-in clinic this afternoon, and they seemed to think it was no big deal, just a matter of symptom management at this point, and gave me a couple of prescriptions. Oh well, I'll get over it. But my schedule for this week is shot to hell. ](*,)
 
The bat fever put me in hospital for 5 days in 2020. I still am not right. Hope you recover quickly.

We are at 82F at this time. No problem with cold weather until next week when it should cool down.

Glad you're getting some nice warm weather. It's been really nice, here, sunny and highs in the low 80s. A bit muggy, though. Why can't we just say, "The weather's perfect, let's not get any hotter, can we just keep this for the rest of the year?"

I seem to be recovering pretty well from the Chinese Bat Fever. I'm taking my medicine, and feel OK for the most part, though the symptoms still persist, but at a lower level, thankfully.

I hope your doctor visit went well, and that he didn't find anything too worrisome. Did you get any rain, or was that just on the coast?

I hope all is well with you, and that things are OK. I can understand that you've had a mild winter, from a distance it looks like cold weather in California tends to come with rain and storm systems, and I don't think you've had much of that this year. It's been a fairly typical winter here, with a cool January and warm February, and so far March has been sort of up and down, with 88 on Wednesday, and 50 yesterday morning. It's supposed to go up into the upper 80s this weekend, back down into the 50s again Tuesday morning, and back up into the 80s later next week.

We have had two days of soaking rain. The coastal areas that were burned are dealing with mud flows. Clear blue skies today and 51F.

I hope everything is going well for you. I'm glad you got some rain out there, and I hope your weather is nice. It's supposed to be hot here today, but drop back down into the 50s tonight, and be a little cool for the next couple of days. It's getting a bit dry here, and there's a red flag warning (high fire danger) for today.
