Triple G Appreciation thread

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're dealing with the heat and the pesky insects OK. I'm glad that you got your AC water blockage fixed, and hope all is well with you.

(*8*) Good afternoon, John

We remain around 105F, but the flies are much lower in number.

Good evening, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are having a lovely day and will have a relaxing weekend.

I’m okay and getting through our heatwave which ends on Monday.

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Yeah, I guess you're going to have another month or two of your summer desert heat. On the good side, I suspect those 105 degree days are cooking all your flies away.

I suspect the Gators will have no trouble beating McNeese, and your Holy Men should dispatch NC State in fine form today.

(*8*) Good morning, John

Sure was a great day for football, except for the storm delay of Notre Dame. Off to pew duty.

Good evening, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are having a great pew day. I’m a bit jot in our heatwave, but it is forecast to end by Tuesday morning. Humidity levels are exceptionally high at some 90%, which is making it even worse…

(*8*) Good afternoon, Rob, John, Andrew, Boris,

A high wind last night damaged the back porch cover. I have been waiting for the guy to get here to do the repairs. Seems I am having a weekly disaster. :(

We are down to 101F. Hope you have dropped to under 90.

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I hope the guy to get your porch repaired quickly turns up for you. I’m sad you are continuing to have these things happen. Hopefully things will improve for you and you can once more enjoy life.

Well, it was warm today, but the humidity was lower so it was bearable. Tomorrow is a rain day and the temperature will be no more than about 64F!! I’m going out so will have the umbrella up…

Good Monday afternoon, Gary! (*8*)

Both my Gators and your Holy Men had great games on Saturday. I'm hoping they can continue their winning ways this Saturday and beyond.

I'm sorry to hear that you had wind damage to your back porch. I hope your handyman can fix it for a reasonable price so you don't have to worry about it.

Well, I guess it's good that you're down to 101 in the desert. Over here the temps have dropped to around 90, so it's not as bad as the last couple of months. Though we had some showers at midday, which made it very sticky this afternoon.

I hope pew duty went well for you, and that you have a great week coming up.

(*8*) Good afternoon, John, Rob, Andrew, Boris

The roofing got repaired as nasty looking clouds filled the sky. With the sun hidden and the temperature around 100, it was not bad working on the roof. It never rained. He charged me only $40.

Today it's blue skies and a few high, white, fluffy clouds and 105 at noon.

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I’m glad you have the roof repaired and at such a great price too. I hope you are having a great day today.

It rained all day here, but I had an accident with one of my fans and had to go and buy a new one. It only cost £17, so no worries there.

Good Friday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I'm glad you got your back porch fixed inexpensively. It sounds like your desert heat continues. It's been hitting 90 degrees with humidity every day, which is typical. September is usually the wettest month here, but so far it's been rather dry. But they're predicting high rain chances from this afternoon through next week.

We'll see how the Gators fare against Tennessee tomorrow, and how you Holy Men will do.

For some reason this song is stuck in my head, I guess because it has a line about being a holy man, though it has nothing to do with Notre Dame.

No I'm never gonna do it without the fez on
Oh no
No I'm never gonna do it without the fez on
Oh no
That's what I am
Please understand
I wanna be your holy man
No I'm never gonna do it without the fez on
Oh no
Ain't never gonna do it without the fez on
Oh no
That's what I am
Please understand
I wanna be your holy man
No I'm never gonna do it without the fez on
Oh no
Don't make me do it without the fez on
Oh no
That's what I am
Please understand
I wanna be your holy man

^ Don't know that one.

(*8*) Happy Fri-yay, John, Rob, Andrew

Looks like another easy victory for Notre Dame, but I think the Gators' match could go either way.

Good evening, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are having a great day today and will have a relaxing weekend.

I broke a tooth today, but I’m using the emergency dental repair kit since I cannot get in to see my dentist until next Wednesday.

I hope you will not be in too much discomfort, Rob (*8*)

Our weather has cooled to the point the cold water is j the right temperate for a comfortable Saturday night shower. (y)

The man that works with me to make the worship folder passed out in our Bible study this morning. His health is failing fast. I think I will lose my helper.

Wish the Notre Dame and USC games were televised today. Will have to make do with the Gators this afternoon.

Central Michigan & ND are tied at 7 in the first quarter. (*S*)
