Personally i use Mc- Afee.
I've never had a problem with t-horses as it stoped them imediatly.And quite frankly it dosen't cost to much as i'm a frugel person (i'm covered untill 2010 for about 100 dollars).Hope you get rid of your problem.

It seems the general consensus is that if Norton was any good the first thing it would get rid of would be itself.
Restart in safe mode, turn off system restore, run the anti virus program again and try and delete or quarantine the trojan then.
