Trump might win !!!!

BTW, exploiting asteroids isn't wishful thinking -- there are three companies in the world currently organized to do just that which are on track with their plans. If they remain on track, then by 2040 we will have three additional moons for the earth (or, if a moon base gets established, possibly our natural moon will have a moon or two of its own).

"If" is a big word when planning such an enterprise. I work in aerospace, and even assuming a launch will happen on schedule is risky, much less the chain of 42 impossible events that lead to the desired conclusion of a complex plan to exploit free ranging space rocks.

I'll meet you back here in 2040 and we can see how fanciful this dream is. There are also companies that take good money to freeze human brains, but that doesn't make it wise or useful.

In my line of work this matter is regularly discussed....

....with some humour, usually over a glass of Ouzo to regulate the laughter.

By the way, Trump's chances of winning are statistically moving toward zero.

So,
I am no expert but i am right.
Trump has a real chance .....

It's more of a referendum against corruption within the DNC. That is why this occurred tonight. From what I understand, the turnout was quite low. When turnout is low, it favors the Republicans.

So why was turnout low? What occurred in the Primaries was one of the key reasons. I was saying that Clinton was not going to win without the Sanders' voters, and the feminist supporters for Clinton simply did not care and frankly, were arrogant to assume everyone was going to turn their heads at a corrupt candidate so that someone with female body parts could be elected and be some sort of symbol.

It didn't happen. Only have themselves to blame for this.

And vote for a bankrupted casino owner?
If there was anything that was pushed aside in this election, it was reality.

How long until the casino owner gambles the house and bankrupts the country.

For the rest of the world, it just means we have to step aside as another former super power collapses in on itself in a pique of isolationism and blame.

If you say so. But the voters had their say and basically, they would rather take their chances with Trump then support a knowingly corrupt candidate that was rammed down their throats by the DNC establishment like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Donna Brazile, and others who colluded with the Media to ensure positive coverage for her, negative coverage for her opposition ... and a candidate who feels she is above the law and doesn't need to take responsibility for her actions.

Unfortunately in a "first past the post" system, the only way to tell a corrupt individual "FU" is to vote for the other big candidate. And when US voters are pissed, traditionally the outsider gets a big chunk of the pissed voters.

We will keep getting irrational results until the 'big two' learn to stop offering corrupt, lying manipulators, or until states decide to stop with the "first past the post" and make a candidate get an actual majority of all registered voters.

I heard roughly the same from a couple of people who have almost always voted for Democrats in the past: they refused to vote to reward someone who has gotten ahead by gaming the system more than serving others. So instead of voting for Clinton, they voted for Stein and Johnson, respectively.

Clinton has no one to blame for this but herself. Hopefully, Democrats can now shove her off into a corner and let some new faces, some people without the baggage, come forward -- something I'm certain Trump will give them plenty of chances to do.
