Was it her vote that pushed the authorization over the required majority for passage?

I read this and my mind went to the state basketball playoffs many years ago, when after the first half people were congratulating one player for putting the team back in the lead before the end of the quarter. The coach told the team that every basket put the team in the lead, because a basket is a basket, and it's the total that matters.

I think that applies: if a vote comes out ahead by one, it isn't the last person to vote who put it over, it's every vote, because if one of them had been different it wouldn't have been over the top despite the last vote.

Viral bronchitis flaring up due to stress over various situations with an elderly mom, then opening the door like seventy times for candy plunderers on Halloween night, getting cold blasts of air each time.

And I can't rest; gotta meet with the attorney tomorrow and look at trust papers for the estate, and after that if all goes well deal with updating bank accounts and such so I can sign on them.

But I'm drinking lots of juice (cringing at the calories....) and trying to stay warm otherwise. Also wishing I had a pet cat to plop on my chest as a heating pad; Bammer is a bit large.
