Humor-Satire Trump Staff Picks, Co-Conspirators and the Revolving Door of Departures [2024 Edition]

There are no words.
I have two words: "war criminal".

As I posted in the other thread:

Sen. Andy Kim:

“Reminder that shortly after ordering these strikes, Hegseth removed the press corps from the Pentagon and the SouthCom Commander overseeing operations in the Caribbean unexpectedly announced he is stepping down 2 yrs before his term is up.
What we are seeing is almost certainly just the tip of the iceberg.”

They can yuk it up all they want.

He is either a serial murderer because there is no war or combat zone or enemy combatants...or he is a war criminal who will only evade justice as long as the GQP control all branches of government.

We really are at a moment where there is some course correction needed.

For years, it's been a ploy to appoint marginally incompetent people to certain positions. The Republican Party doesn't want the EPA to succeed, so they appoint either a fool or an agent of chaos to that agency to just make it ineffective and a self-fulfilling prophecy supporting the narrative of, "Government doesn't work. Government is the problem.". But even the Republicans would make sure there was a Tommy Thompson, Robert Gates or a James Baker in the important agencies of government because America needed some parts of government to work.

In 2025 Trump tried a new tactic: make every cabinet appointment less-than-competent.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Senate rubber stamped a lot of people that they knew were not up to the job.

The vote on Hegseth was 50-50 and required Vance to break the tie. They knew what they were voting for: a drunk with no relevant managerial experience and a long history of behavioral issues, inappropriate behavior in the workplace and a personal life best described as a "trainwreck". The only Republicans to vote against Hegseth where Collins [R-ME], McConnell [R-KY] and Murkowski [R-AK].

It should not be a surprise that the Pentagon is going to make sure that Hegseth resigns. They are going to grind him to bits until either he has a mental breakdown or is caught up in a scandal that forces the White House to cut him loose. It will take years to repair the damage that has been done by Hegseth and his deputies.

But let's not forget: these murders, the "warrior culture" and the damage being done to the American military and its leadership falls squarely upon the Republicans in the Senate and upon the Vice-President for confirming this unserious, alcoholic, sociopath to a position he should have never been nominated for.

More bad signs for Ka$h Patel and his tenure at the FBI:

Fox News has soured on Ka$h. They've been reporting on an incident where Ka$h arrived at a location on his private (taxpayer funded) plane. Upon arrival, Ka$h refused to get off the plane until someone found an FBI jacket for him to wear. Eventually, his staff were able to find a female FBI employee who was willing to loan Ka$h her jacket. Ka$h then demanded that the staff find patches for him to wear on the jacket (flare, gurl!). Several FBI employees removed the patches from their jacket and gave them to Ka$h.

Kash Patel humiliated as explosive 115-page dossier reveals what FBI agents really think... and his tantrum after being issued a women's raid jacket

A scathing 115-page report into the state of the FBI under Kash Patel has exposed turmoil and friction as agents turn on him and even Trump administration allies admit he is out of his depth.

Barely six months into the job, Patel has already been mired in controversy over his use of a government jet to visit his country singer girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, and his astonishing decision to assign a SWAT team to protect her.

The damaging new dossier, obtained by the New York Post's Miranda Devine, detailed an embarrassing tantrum Patel allegedly threw after the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

Patel reportedly flew into Provo, Utah, on September 11, the day after the killing, and refused to 'disembark from the plane without an FBI raid jacket.'

He did not have his own and was so concerned about the optics that he pulled Salt Lake City FBI field agents from the investigation and ordered them to find him medium-sized outerwear.

They eventually tracked down one he could wear but it belonged to a female agent.

Patel was reportedly fuming when he received the jacket and erupted when he noticed 'two areas on the upper sleeves did not have Velcro patches attached', and still refused to step off the plane.

The PR was so bad that Ka$h went on Laura Ingraham's show to defend himself and throw mud at Democrats that he says are spreading lies about him.

^^Will the GQP Congress just double down now and wait it out?
.
I suspect so. And even worse, watch for the campaign to create more fog around him by Reps and Senators. Seizing on anything to avoid taking any responsibility for their reckless appointment approval and hoping the last of the real professionals in the Pentagon take him out.

We are only a couple of weeks away from the 'release' of the Epstein files and then Christmas when TrumpCo. and Congress can become incommunicado and there is still some possibility

I don't see any reason for Trump to dump him though.
He was appointed to kill the FBI and he seems to be getting the job done.

Because Trump needs the FBI to be competent enough to investigate his enemies.

I think the TrumpCo. plan is to recreate the FBI into a new KGB/FSB styled investigative force that would ignore financial crimes and basically any other crimes committed by the oligarchs and his regime and only focus on investigating crimes as directed by the oval office.

More bad news from the DUI hire:

Hegseth endangered troops with Signal messages: Pentagon watchdog report

A highly critical inspector general report found Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth jeopardized troop safety and violated department policy by using the Signal app on his personal cell phone to discuss a pending strike on Houthi targets in Yemen...

But sources who viewed the still-classified document told The Hill and sister station NewsNation that it determined that if the detailed strike plans Hegseth shared had been intercepted by a foreign adversary, it would have clearly endangered troops.

But as long as he plays he man willing to kill for hire and suck at Trump's taint, he is golden.

Only if Trump begins to fear that Whiskey Pete will throw Trump under the bus, he will use him as a shield.

But ultimately, there's a 90% chance he'll turn on Pete and eventually claim he hated and didn't trust him all along.

Classic neurotic, sociopathic behaviour.

How long until the online betting websites start taking odds on who will get canned first: "Whiskey" Pete Hegseth or Ka$h "Where's my jacket" Patel?

Damning report labels FBI ‘rudderless ship’ under Kash Patel — with him and Dan Bongino more concerned with building ‘personal résumés’

A troubling new report card on the first six months of Patel’s leadership concludes he is “in over his head” and his deputy, Dan Bongino, is “something of a clown,” according to the alliance, which in two previous reports warned about crippling DEI and politicization of the FBI during the Biden administration.

The Patel-led FBI is described in the 115-page report as a “rudderless ship” and “all f–ked up.”

They are safe.

TrumpCo. has no problem with either of them.

Krash Patel and his sidepiece Bongino are doing the job they were given to undermine the FBI and Hagueseth is the consumate psychopathic murder machine who has demosntrated he has no problem committing war crimes for the Boss.

If PatelCo. starts to demonstrate competency or Whiskey Pete begins to waver and question his marching orders from TrumpCo....then they will be out.

Rumors are that RFK Jr's "sobriety" is not as "sober" as it appears...

Health and Human Services secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has made a long series of controversial movies in that role, from attacking the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to shutting down promising vaccine studies that could have led to a cure for cancer.

At the same time, confusingly, he’s not above pumping himself with testosterone and other questionable substances. And apparently it doesn’t stop there: he also smokes the powerful psychedelic dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and ingests other mind-altering substances despite years of being “sober” — according, at least, to a new book by his one-time paramour Olivia Nuzzi, a former political reporter for New York magazine who left the publication after her affair with Kennedy was made public.

“She writes that despite being ‘sober’ for decades, Kennedy told her that he still uses psychedelics, and even smoked dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, a powerful drug on which people are known to have what feel like near-death experiences,” the New York Times writes of the new book, titled “American Canto.”

File under: you can't make this shit up...

Kristi Noem was back in South Dakota to celebrate her 54th birthday with family... at a Mexican restaurant.

Social media video (since deleted) shows Noem in a pink sombrero with a child in her lap. And yes, the restaurant staff were asked to sing "Feliz cumpleaños" to her... in Spanish.

The video features a child and can't be posted here.

I suspect her margaritas might have had an oddly amber color to them.

^ Noem is such trash that she has no idea of just how trashy she is.

Hopefully, even at the expense of another cartoom dog being shot, South Park doesn't miss this opportunity.

In the current Administration, trashy is a feature, not a bug.

What I haven't heard is whether the MIA husband was with her... or the "Chief of Staff".

One down... a dozen more to go....

Former Trump personal lawyer Alina Habba resigns as acting US attorney for New Jersey

Alina Habba, President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer, resigned Monday as the acting US attorney for the district of New Jersey, following an appeals court ruling finding that she was serving in her position unlawfully.

Habba, a staunch defender of Trump as his attorney and on the campaign trail, said she will step down to protect “the stability and integrity of the office which I love.”

“But do not mistake compliance for surrender,” she wrote in a statement shared on X. “This decision will not weaken the Justice Department and it will not weaken me.”

It isn’t clear who will lead the US attorney’s office following her resignation.

This is a showdown I would buy a ticket for... especially if it results in mutually-assured annihilation. 🍿
