Trump’s acting FEMA chief fired a day after breaking from the administration

The acting administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency has been fired one day after he broke with fellow members of the administration when he told lawmakers he does not support dismantling the agency, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson confirmed to CNN.

Cameron Hamilton, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, was escorted out of FEMA’s headquarters on Thursday, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation.

“It’s at the discretion of (Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem) to have the personnel she prefers,” DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told CNN, confirming that DHS official David Richardson will take over for Hamilton effective immediately. McLaughlin declined to explain why Hamilton was removed from the post.

Hayden was sworn in as the librarian of Congress in September 2016, becoming the first woman and Black person to hold the position. She had about a year and a half left in her 10-year term.

I think that the Trump/Kennedy goal with HHS is to totally destroy it as a working entity.

On top of Kash Patel admitting that he had no timeline for a budget plan and Noem getting her ass handed to her by Murphy this week, I imagine we are either witnessing Congress waking up to the fact that they
exert no authority or power any more...or we are actually witnessing people who are so incompetent that their departments are just going to implode.

The GOP are going to start touting job growth in Defense and Homeland Security contracts for private companies in all their districts going into next year.

They are counting on the people losing their benefits to shut the fuck up and to be so disorganized that they can't dislodge a completely gerrymandered GOP Congress.

If there are even elections.

One of the interesting things in the budget is an actual sizeable increase for the VA. If they can regain the vets by not slashing their benefits, they will build a solid bloc of support.

That is how they will survive.

All smoke and mirrors, because most of the cash flow will be to the tech bros, private prisons and military industrial corporations.

These are all resource heavy and we'll also start hearing more about the need for the US to control all the mineral wealth to feed these domestic industries.
