Moore will be a disaster.

He still needs confirmation. While he'll probably be confirmed, it's another hearing that will be a circus.

^ From the article:

She was a top Trump donor before joining his administration.

Perhaps she's now begrudging the money she wasted on him.

One of the few who was competent and didn't get caught up in all the scandals that the male appointees in this administration always seem to end up in.

Or she'll show up in the Sheldon Adelson, Rebekah Mercer, et al, special donors club. McMahon is a dyed-in-the-wool Republican and she hasn't gotten the memo that her bed-felllows are not moderate Republicans.

Dr Ben Carson, HUD Secretary, tries to explain why HUD removed guidance statements forbidding discrimination against LGBT people from the HUD website.

"We're all more stupid after this testimony"

Re: Trump Staff Picks and Revolving Door of Departures

What again qualified Ben Carson, a neurologist by training, to oversee housing policy? And Representative Quigley was on to something as Carson sure has appeared to have lost some brain cells himself with his bizarre testimony.

Finally.

Keeping babies in cages was obviously not cruel enough for Trump.

"Frustrations were building on both sides," the source said. "She was undercut at every turn. She's done everything she can do. The White House is eating their own."

Re: Trump Staff Picks and Revolving Door of Departures

As more and more administration advisory positions go unfulfilled, it is getting to the point that there is no one in a position to tell the Donald NO!

https://www.thenewcivilrightsmoveme...les-and-disintegrating-right-before-our-eyes/

Um, that's his objective. Acting secretaries and administrators have little power and are "yes" men/women.

It's not too different from how he ran his businesses- or like how any mafioso runs a business: use family and never let underlings accumulate too much power.

Please pardon the pun, but there seems to be some method to his madness.

Trump is removing US Secret Service director [CNN]
United States Secret Service director Randolph "Tex" Alles is being removed from his position, multiple administration officials tell CNN.

President Donald Trump instructed his acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, to fire Alles. Alles remains in his position as of now but has been asked to leave.

The USSS director was told two weeks ago there would be a transition in leadership and he was asked to stay on until there was a replacement, according to a source close to the director....

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services director Francis Cissna and Office of the General Counsel's John Mitnick are expected to be gone soon, and the White House is eyeing others to be removed.

Trump suddenly pulls ICE nominee to go with someone 'tougher' [CNN]

President Donald Trump is pulling the nomination of Ron Vitiello to lead US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, saying he wants to go in a "tougher direction" -- a move that came at the urging of White House senior adviser Stephen Miller.

"We're going in a little different direction. Ron's a good man but we're going in a tougher direction. We want to go in a tougher direction," Trump told reporters Friday at the White House.

Miller directly lobbied Trump to pull the nomination, two White House officials told CNN.

Miller went to the President and told him that Vitiello, who has led the agency in an acting capacity since last summer, was not fully in favor of closing the southern border, as Trump has threatened to do in recent days.

Apparently Baby Goebbels has been given control of the border.

On Sunday, Politico reported that the White House adviser Stephen Miller was behind a government-wide bid to tighten migration policy. The site said he lobbied for the replacement of government officials with those who share his views and telephoned mid-ranking officials at several government departments to angrily demand that they do more the halt the illegal movement of migrants into the country.

This is chilling news. Because we know that he is much crueler than anyone else in the White House.

Re: Trump Staff Picks and Revolving Door of Departures

Apparently, it may be because of the Mar-a-lago incident. Trump did not like the Secret Service speaking out about how impossible it is to secure his club.

After Zhang’s arrest, the Secret Service issued a statement that said that they couldn’t control who Trump lets into his private club.

The fight to secure Mar-a-Lago has been a source of tension between Trump and the Secret Service for at least a year.
