Trump this.

Oh, f**king speak English already.

:mad::mad::mad: :mad:

Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer.
One People, One Nation, One Leader.

Printed on millions of posters, ads, flyers under pictures of Adolf Hitler.
Literally, the MOTTO of NAZI GERMANY. That's why I posted it in German.

Everything these Magas say and do demonstrate that motto.
They might as well just say it.

Oh, I don't deny their Fascism. It's just that I've heard MAGA folks say the line I used in my last post to people using another language in the USA.

Multilingualism is not their strong suit.

Watch the first 2 minutes of this video to hear Mary Trump explain how a bowl of mashed potatoes could bring down Donald Trump. :rotflmao:

well, Well, WELL - the Donald's attorneys are meeting with the DOJ :=D:

There's three ways this plays out:
  • Trump takes a plea deal. The possibility of this coming with time in prison might kill this option.
  • Trump fights the charge and likely will die before he goes to prison.
  • Trump tries to flee the US.
In addition to the above, no matter which option, I think the CAPS LOCK key on Truth Social is going to be worn to a nub over the next few weeks.

Buckle your seatbelts. :)

Perhaps that'll keep fake twitter from going under.

Toad is going to whine and call for violence no matter what happens. It's the easiest prediction ever. There will be no deals, there will be endless frivolous motions until some judge gets fed up in a couple of years and tries to enforce the law. Then there will be endless frivolous appeals until it gets all the way up to the corrupt court that rules us all.

Then depending on what the owners of the court are willing to pay for, there might be some small measure of justice - so long as there's no possibility it's relevant to anyone's hold on power anymore.

Toad has to destroy himself, and even dead the horde will just carry on. He didn't create them, they created him.

None of this current drama has any possibility of destroying him, not one little bit. Not going to work out that way.

I keep telling all my leftist friends who have no contact with the horde that it's foolish to think the horde cares. He's a rapist, they know that, he's a liar, they know that. He's a thief, they know that, He's a corrupt, godless, hedonistic asshole, they know all of that too.

It doesn't matter so long as he's honest about being a bigot.

The only thing they will turn away from, is Toad's betrayal of hate and cruelty - hell, a whole lot of the horde aspire to Toad's corruption, just look at Kitara, the Mouth, The Bobbrt, pedo, the groomer and the gang.

^ Pretty much this.

There's no justice coming for Trump or any of his enablers in Congress and the Senate.

I agree. There will be no deals...certainly none that remove Trump from the run for the Oval Office.

He is literally fighting for his survival here.

I don't care about the evangelicals and White Nationalists who are Trump's base. These are people who backed Jimmy Swaggart. They believe the Holocaust didn't happen. They are living in an alternate reality. Fortunately, they're a small minority and their ranks are declining in number. They cannot carry any national election.

What I care about is the group of Republicans and Democrats who now call themselves "independents" because they are so tired of the feckless choices that we have in most elections. They are the ones who are will be disgusted as the prospect of having a candidate for President who campaigns with an ankle bracelet. They will either do what they did in 2020 and vote against Trump or they will stay home.

and yet a bunch if those feckless independents are going to vote for Trump anyway, and are basically the cause of him getting power in the first place.

I have no more patience for the tender and fragile sensibilities of people who will not involve themselves in changing the process and taking an active role, in favor of whining and doing nothing, then voting Republican anyway.

If they will not engage and merely complain every four years, they might as well be the horde, because apathy is how fascists get elected.

The biggest delusion in modern American politics is that the "people" have some kind of right to sit back and do nothing.

We deserve what we are willing to fight for, and if that's nothing, then we get nothing.

NEW YORK (AP) — A New York writer who won a $5 million jury verdict against ex-President Donald Trump can’t win a pending defamation lawsuit against him because the jury agreed with Trump that he never raped her, his lawyers told a judge Monday...

It's a good thing that Toad doesn't pay lawyers if they are going to push this kind of asinine stupidity. The jury did NOT say Toad wasn't a rapist, they didn't "agree," they said that there wasn't evidence to convict, THEN found him liable for sexual assault. ALL OF WHICH is irrelevant to the legal question of whether he defamed her or not.

That is a stupid, juvenile, foolish argument to make in a court, and will absolutely fail, and I am willing to bet Toad forced his "lawyers" to push in the first place.

Put a pin in this:

Former MacDill airman gets 3 years in prison for keeping classified documents

Robert Birchum, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, admitted he kept more than 300 classified documents in his Tampa home and among his personal belongings....
The sentence was less than the 6½ years prosecutors asked for — which was the low end of what federal guidelines suggested — but far from the probationary penalty his defense lawyer had sought.

3 years in prison with 3 years of post-release supervision for a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel who served in the military for 30 years and who didn't obstruct justice.

It would be nice if that were actually some kind of precedent. Howsoever we might feel about it, they will argue that Toad is always going to be a special case, and he can get away with things others can't because of that. Unfortunately, if he gets the right judge, that's going to be the result.

That is why Moscow Mitch spent all those years stuffing the courts with partisan asswipes.

I wouldn't worry about the judge. I'd worry more about the jury pool. One of the grand juries is meeting in Florida. If this goes to trial in Florida, the petit jury pool will be more sympathetic than a DC or NY jury.

The rumors that I'm hearing are the it's not just going to be obstruction. There may also be espionage charges connected.

If we're going to prosecute under the letter of the law - Toad has confessed to obstruction, espionage, possibly extortion, tampering with evidence and witnesses, incitement to riot, conspiracy to defraud, wire fraud, and hmmmmmm I feel like I'm missing a few. This is all of course before you get to the procedural issues like lying to the court and filing frivolous lawsuits/motions and being in contempt.

Whether or not a Grand Jury recommends an indictment, that does not attach jeopardy, this Grand Jury, that Grand Jury, I trust Smith knows how to get a true bill ifin he wants one.

I'm a lot more concerned with the internal arguments over what the actual precedential step of indicting Toad is going to mean to the DOJ. I suspect they are going to leave the big guns off the table and prosecute for lesser things that carry no actual penalty in any real sense.

...
It creates a venue question. Smith is a special counsel, so he can file charges in any venue. For some reason, he has two grand juries active - Florida and DC. If the Mar-A-Lago case goes to the DOJ's Southern District of Florida which has jurisdiction over Palm Beach County, that could mean that the trial would be held in Florida, not DC and the petit jury members would come from the South Florida voter base.

The Press has been following the activity with the DC grand jury. It's not clear to me whether DOJ is pursuing separate actions - the DC Grand Jury may be handling the case having to do with Trump's attempt to subvert Biden's election to office. The Mar-A-Lago case may be going on in Florida.

They won't charge a former Prez with espionage.

The grey eminences will determine that this would be a deal-breaker for the country. Even though we all Know that Trump sold the US out to rrrZZja and the Sauds among others,

Although I am sure that all the intelligence agencies in the western countries have been advised about what has been stolen and likely shared...no one likely wants all of this info out in the public.

And the charges likely will be filed in DC. Jack Smith is going to look for a court that Trump cannot influence.

I suspect it's not venue shopping, and more likely that Smith is looking at charging in both jurisdictions. Elsewise there is no question about where he might charge and just do it in D.C.

There's a wrinkle to all of this. Trump may not be the only one who gets charged.

DOJ likes to go after lower level participants, flip them and get them to provide evidence to the next level of indictees.

Trump didn't move those boxes himself. The question is whether those who knew he had the documents and who helped hide them had knowledge of what they were doing. Trump has been paying the legal fees for his employees and lackeys who were part of the document-hiding at Mar-A-Lago and they're being represented by Trump-friendly attorneys. If these witnesses aren't co-operating and are lying to investigators, they're going to be the first to be charged.

I also suspect this is going to loom large to Garland who gets the privilege of being the Fed who got the S,C, to rule that Toad is above the law.
