I figured from Trump's tantrums this past week, that something was roiling in the background in addition to the grand jury work in New York.
 
The longer this gets drug out, the less likely that anything will materialize. This is essentially the last minute this could go forward. Otherwise, at the least, it will have to wait until 2025, if not 2029 or never.

I really hope he has a spectacularly public meltdown. But that is probably wishful thinking. The psychologists should be taking note.

Since the magas are also pretty much narcissists, a meltdown could spread throughout Magadom as well, and the rest of us could be seriously threatened for a while. Who knows what they might do in retaliation if Trump really goes off the deep end. Because, you know, it would be everyone else's fault but their own.

This was before the Trump Org was convicted and fined in Dec, 2022. His only hope for future loans is to go offshore but brings us back into the emoluments issues that were never resolved during his Administration.
 
Fox is reporting that Manhattan is getting ready to arrest Trump next week. While he will be processed and fingerprinted, there is still discussion with law authorities as to whether he would be cuffed.
