Trump this.

Yup...Tuesday.

This would be hilarious if it wasn't so dangerous and sick. So typical of him to go on a rant bout everything but the reason why and make it seem like he is the victim (as Always).

Not surprisingly, he didn't call for peaceful protest.

Here's the interesting part, are they going to recognize him for the dangerous threat he is and prepare for backlash from his cult (that he's publicly calling for) or are they going to use the kiddie gloves like they did with the insurrectionists?

are they going to use the kiddie gloves like they did with the insurrectionists?

The reason they used kiddie gloves with the insurrectionists on January 6 itself was because they were badly outnumbered and had to figure a way to keep the huge crowd from breaking through to where the Congressmen and Senators were and, eventually, get them out of the building without trashing it completely.

And why were they badly outnumbered? Because, for most of the time, the Capitol Police were basically on their own. They were pleading for National Guard troops or even Army troops to help defend the Capitol, even before the insurrectionists broke in. But who is responsible for calling up the National Guard in DC? Not the mayor. The feds, who ultimately reported to Trump appointees.

that temper tantrum just might come back to haunt him :rotflmao:

My expectation is that if there is violence by Trump supporters, he will definitely be held in custody while some bail and pre-trial plan is worked out.

BTW though, who will now be representing him in this trial? Alan Dershowitz?

We will see a flood of furious scribbles over the next 48+ hours before the real deluge. But yeah, the crazy part is that we are returning to Trump 24/7 as of Tuesday.

And we know he won't shut up about it and neither will his core cabal or his base.

Also crazy that he got George Soros in there for his Magat QAnoners.

I assume that Soros is just dog whistle for Jews?

Meanwhile, on a darker note, the Trump trolls are threatening revenge and mayhem all over social media.

I see him being compared to Jesus Christ, although I don't recall Jesus paying off Mary Magdelene with 130 K to keep quiet.

The kind of Trumpie bullshit from the magatz right now.

yeah. fucking over your future lives for a guy who doesn't give a shit about you makes huge sense.

Seen this morning:

MAGA: “If Trump’s arrested they’ll be civil war.”

Me: “Your bio says you’re from Alabama. People from the south should think twice before advocating for civil war.”

This is hysterical. Only 1/3 of Americans have a 401K. If they do withdraw, the amount they withdraw will be subject to taxation as ordinary income along with a 10% penalty if I am under age 60. This will be a tax windfall for the US government.

Let's say I have 100K in my 401K and I have a Trumpist hissy fit and withdraw it. I will get 70K in cash, 20K goes to the government as income tax, 10K goes to the government as penalties. At the end of the year, I have to declare an extra 100K as income.

Go for it.

All the hysteria is what the toad was after. First off, he's not going to jail. He may only be charged with a misdemeanor, and maybe a low-level felony both of which are likely to end with just a fine. The serious stuff is not this.

He'll show up and get processed and go home. Let's hope there is some kind of standoff because refusing to comply is a worse crime than anything the D.A. is threatening.

Honestly. The mania is just ridiculous. Wanting a "civil war" over a falsified business record is way OTT. You'd think he was going to the electric chair.

Plus, I blame the talking heads who've been droning on and on about this like it's the apocalypse or some kind of final reckoning. It's not. I'll start celebrating when the charge is sedition and conspiracy.
