Unless you were the highest tier legal counsel in the US who thought they have a slam dunk on Executive Privilege before the SC....there's no one who is going to wanttheir name attached to defending these 38 charges on the basis of...'he never really means what he is saying'.

No wonder Melanoma looked so grim exiting Trump Tower yesterday.
 
Being a convicted felon does' bar him from running for office, anyway, that is utterly moot if for some reason he gets re-elected next year.

Also, he's going to petition the court, and probably succeed for more time to prepare new lawyers. That certainly can be repeated. After the 'pubby primary is over, there are legitimate reasons to suspend any and all prosecutions and investigations until after the election. If anything is going to happen, it will have to happen this year, and be concluded by next summer.

The bitch of it is, now that we know what evidence Smith has - THERE IS NO DOUBT he's guilty, he fucking convicted himself, on multiple occasions on multiple charges.

BUT, some idiot in Florida is going to ignore his guilt and refuse to convict while that incompetent fool he put on the bench gives him every benefit she can imagine.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so. If ever there were significant grounds for requiring a recusal - this is it.

Yes, Smith can petition to have her removed. Normally that doesn't stand a chance in hell - except here, there is a demonstrable record of egregious favoritism and an actual rebuke from a higher court over it.

This has to be the tackiest MOTEL 8 bathroom ever. Cheezy shower curtain. Chandeliers and marble can't hide that this is one of the trashiest bathrooms I have ever seen.

I think there's two decision makers - the chief judge for the District or the Court of Appeals for that District. From the legal experts are saying, it is a long shot for both.

Honestly, after Cannon's last debacle with the civil case, you would think she would dump this off on someone else. I wish someone would take a look at how many law clerks have bailed on her Court. She's such an embarrassment to have on an attorney's resume.

Eugene Debbs ran from prison. The question on everyone's mind is whether he can be President from inside a Federal prison. :LOL:

Personally, I'm looking at the genetic lottery for Trump. His father did live to his 90s but spent the last decade suffering from dementia. His mother lived to a ripe old age and didn't show any signs of dementia. One brother died in his 40s from alcoholism. Another brother died from a stroke around age 70. I think given Donald's existing mental illness, the stress of multiple trials and his lifestyle choices, nature may put an end to all of this.

One of the media outlets pointed out that those red callout boxes next to that hideous chandelier are boxes stacked up behind the shower curtain. So, not only are there those boxes around the toilet that are getting a nice coating of fecal matter, they tried to hide more boxes in the bathtub. 🤦‍♂️

Why is the toilet so far away from the wall? There appears to be at least a foot between the back of the toilet and the wall.

Maybe room for a garbage can for his diapers.

I wondered the same thing.

Either it's an illusion caused by the perspective of the camera or they had to do something weird to keep people from hitting their head on that weird candlestick sconce over the toilet?
 
LOL I didn't even notice that, being horribly distracted by Great-Grandma's dining room chandelier hanging so low I'd knock my head on it if I tried to use that commode.

It's a good thing he didn't bother to pay whomever it was who came up with this. Or maybe that was the issue.
