Trump this.

On display recently at Bedminster.

That looks straight up like trailer trash with cash. Including the catalog concubine. What the hell is happening on the right? s that the "artist?" Why is she in a negligee lounging on the floor?

...If past is prologue, then he's going to prison. The system is set up like one would expect Christian jurisprudence to work: admit you are guilty, say you're sorry and ask the Court for mercy, in exchange for a lighter sentence...
Our legal system was set up to protect straight white male property. Toad has been benefiting from that all his life. What might put him in prison is biting the hand that's shielded him.

But probably not. Unless there is some new trial somewhere else, hung jury, they'll find one Florida Trog and he'll piss on justice.

And anywhere red, that will just keep happening.

He'll die before anyone is able to nab him.

...The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that workers from ZTE, a state-owned Chinese telecommunications company, had been tracked by U.S. officials “exiting suspected Chinese spy facilities in Cuba.” ZTE had been under U.S. sanctions since 2016, but the Trump administration lifted those sanctions in 2018 allowing the communications equipment maker to resume business in the U.S...

I wonder how much that cost.

As Donald Trump and his lawyers head to court once again to face a second defamation lawsuit filed by E. Jean Carroll, he faces the very real prospect of a jury awarding her up to $100 million in punitive damages should a jury find in her favor. According to a report from New York Times' Benjamin Weiser, Carroll's attorney is looking for a win and financial penalties at the outermost edge that will get the former president to cease smearing her client and that may come in the form of a massive punitive damage award...

It would be hilarious if this is how he goes down. I wonder how high the penalties can go. Having to give all his hard-won gritted cash to a "nasty woman" would be karma. I so want them to take his gilt monstrosity and sell it off at the courthouse. How poor will he have to get before the catalog wife divorces him?

Pity there are no Russians left to buy it, but I bet some Saudis would enjoy the decor.

...However, despite difficulties retaining new legal representation, Trump bragged to a group of supporters at a fundraiser at Bedminster that some of the “biggest” firms and lawyers have called him asking to represent him in the upcoming federal trial. “I tell all these people, they all come in — they want to help,” Trump said speaking about the upcoming 2024 election. “The biggest, some of the biggest people, the biggest law firms, the biggest lawyers, I say listen, “I don’t need any help. I don’t want any help in campaigns...”

I have to wonder if those "biggest" lawyers are incredibly tall, or just incredibly fat, or both.

The real question is, how many of them were crying?

I suspect most of them were crying with laughter when Trump called to beg them to take his case(s).

Trump is really scared now after reviewing the documents turned over by Jack Smith to his lawyers. He's asking Republican-dominated Congress for help to stop the investigation in bold letters. Clear desperation.

So CNN has released the audio recording on which former US President Donald Trump discussed plans to attack Iran with his employees and showed them a secret document.

Will this matter?

Or will this now be the new standard for GQP voters?

And how is this Hunter Biden's fault?

I wish that Tribe was prescient. But he isn't and really has no influence on the Justice Department. and is now a news pundit foremost....

But the charges you are referring to maybe being brought by Jack Smith are totally separate issue as to whether the sharing of classified docs will matter.

I also find that NCRM tends to somewhat over-state what is about to happen to Trump to bring him to justice.

? and no one commented that he tried to terrify women with bans on housekeeping appliances? Are "they" not also coming for vacuum cleaners and Brillo pads?

He really does sound like the demented guy raving in the room next to your dad in the nursing home.

"I think the key to Trump is that he's the hero to stupid and resentful people. He is unique because he's nakedly un-self-aware. Having no conscience, only a vast sense of entitlement where a conscience would be, he's not restrained by conventional feelings of self-respect or shame. He never spoils it for them by betraying any degree of self-doubt or humility or self-criticism. And he never does anything smart that might alienate his dumb base: he just plows ahead doing stuff like this, incriminating himself [with every rant he goes off on]. The kind of people who succeed in life without being born on third base, the kind of smart lawyer who works for the Dept. of Justice, can't really believe he's as stupid as he seems, and they are intimidated by the number of stupid and resentful people who have at last found their champion, a person not confined by ideas about decency that they've never quite understood and feel bullied by."
