That's a good article.I agree about missing Mary, although he hasn't even followed her expected trajectory.
But he does appear to be exhibiting post-narcissistic collapse rage which is what I think is driving him.
I have seen this behaviour with a narcissist and even though this is ridiculously facile found a few word to describe what we may be witnessing. This is similar to what I saw happen with the person I knew. And it is not dissimilar to what we saw with Hitler as he realized it had all crashed around him.
