It's kind of odd that this hasn't been covered more in the news. Friends in Chicago are saying that this is big on their local media but isn't getting sufficient coverage on national news.

ICE sent 300 agents. 300 government agents in military gear! They went door-to-door in an apartment building and pulled men, women and children out of their apartments and demanded to know their names, dates of birth and where they were born. Many were American citizens in the privacy of their homes. Several were in their underwear or naked. Flash-bang grenades were used... like this was a raid on terrorists in Afghanistan and not Americans in the privacy of their own homes in Chicago.

It's provoked protests in Chicago. Something about crying children in zip tie handcuffs seems to have outraged the locals.

It's worth noting that ICE is not raiding condo complexes in Manhattan or Beverly Hills. If they were, you bet that it would be all over the news.
