Trump's Mass Deportation Plans

There is increasing disquiet out there that without zero transparency and with the worst political intentions in the world combined with institutionalized racism that people ar being swept up without actual cause....and of course, TrumpCo. and IceCo. and BukeleCo. aren't going to release any real information.

Even I find it hard to beleive with the track record of the US in apprehending criminal gangs over the decades, that conveniently, over 200 of them are suddenly aggregated and ejected to a completely corrupt 3rd world hellhole in one move.

^Incidentally, this kind of extrajudicial action is exactly what Duterte from the Philippines has been indicted for. His "war on drugs", which was so popular with the masses, at least at first, led to the imprisonment of and mass killings of accused but unindicted gang members. No arrests. No charges. No arraignment. No due process. Just murdering people in the streets by Duterte's police force. Duterte bragged about shooting "drug dealers" in the streets like dogs.

The Philippines is not a member of the ICC, but President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. used Interpol to arrest Duterte instead. For many Filipinos, this development was incredible. First, as mayor of Davao, where he pioneered bloody extrajudicial drug wars, and then as president, where his wars killed thousands of innocent people, Duterte had seemed untouchable. His daughter even served as Marcos Jr.’s vice president. He retained a substantial amount of support in the southern Philippines and among some members of the legislature, and he continued to boast about his war—crimes, essentially—long after his presidency had ended.

It is why I started the thread about Duterte at the ICC.

Trump's campaign won't end any differently and will enfold thousands of people who are just simply shipped off to concentration camps in off-shore failed states or who eventually just are 'disappeared' within the lower 48 states.

Over time, TrumpCo's goons will just harden more and more...just like Hilter's SS.

Eventually every non-white homeless person...then all the homeless and addicted and/or mentally defective.

Then the 'deviants'.

Every one of us knows where this ends.

The pity is that Trump will die before he is ever brought to justice and his cabal will escape it in return for telling what they know.

More of the 'disappeared'.

These with civil offenses, none criminal.

“We don’t know what’s happened to these four dozen New Mexicans. They’ve effectively disappeared. They’re gone,” said Becca Sheff, senior staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico, during a Monday news conference at the New Mexico Legislature.

And why won't the US make the names of the people they kidnapped public?

I would imagine the courts are busy this morning. He's giving them 30 days to leave.

Again, reckless. Cruel. Counter -intuitive from the standpoint of the economy.

Chief Judge Boasberg yesterday denied the federal government's effort to vacate the TROs in the Alien Enemies Act case,
based on finding that people the government claims are subject to the proclamation at least have a right to
"individualized hearings to determine whether the Act applies to them at all."

This is a key principle. At this point...it looks like invoking the Act will be a non-starter.

If this premise fails, then tens of thousands or even millions could be improperly sent out of the US to 3rd world prisons without due process.

Now they have to work to repatriate the kidnapped detainees from el Salvador.

I am worried for an elderly Venezuelan lady that I met at a local senior center.

She was one of those Hispanics that cheered when Trump won the election. I had to put on my best poker face when she said he is a "strong man!" Apparently she was one of those "good immigrants" who came to the United States playing by the rules, who looked down on the undocumented immigrants, who were going to get what they deserve. I'll have to admit that I sure didn't see that one coming.

Turns out the Trump administration doesn't give a damn about whether immigrants played by the rules or not. They want them all gone. When I heard this story on NPR Headline News, the unease I was feeling turned to alarm. One word that caught my attention was "parole." I had previously heard my Venezuelan lady friend talk about parole, which I thought was a strange word in relation to immigration status. Parole is the condition of being released from prison with restrictions placed on your freedom.

I haven't seen much of her in the past couple of months. She texted me and said she is going to citizenship classes five nights a week, and is taking English classes five days a week. She knows about as much English as I know Spanish, which is to say not much. The Venezuelan lady says she needs to know English to become a citizen. I'm not sure if English fluency is a citizenship requirement per se, or if it is a matter of the citizenship tests being administered only in English. I get a feeling of desperation from the way she is cramming, as if she's trying to beat the clock, which has suddenly been moved to time's up. She is elderly and certainly doesn't need this stress.

She does have family here, daughters and grandchildren who are Americanized, though I don't know their status. Some of them may also be in danger if they are not citizens.

You get what you vote for. Plenty of Latino's voted for Toad believing he was going to make exceptions for them.

No sympathy.

The Cubans in Hialeah and Little Havana (north Miami area) are in an uproar. They're carrying their passports and green cards with them everywhere they go. I tried to tell Cuban friends that this would happen but over and over, they said, "No, he's just going to get rid of the Mexicans and the ones who have been committing all those crimes".

The Spanish language press in southern Florida is full of stories from Cuban immigrants who voted for Trump after he made all sorts of promises in 2024, who now have buyer's remorse.

"Me, for example, in my case I am 100% A Republican. I voted for Trump. But this kind of thing seems to me to be getting out of hand."

Cubans who entered the United States with humanitarian parole and CBP One and have been in the country for less than two years may face deportation. This risk is higher for those whose parole has expired and who have not started any immigration proceedings. It is important for these individuals to seek legal advice to evaluate their options.

Exactly, you voted for Toad and if he now deports Grandma, it's your fault.

I'd love to believe that these people would learn, but next time, they'd just make the same choice.

Next time you see KKKaroline Leavitt with her cross necklace ask yourself, "What would Jesus tweet?".

I thought that this was a good thread to post this, considering the title...

For the few on JUB who might be cheering on the illegal rendition of deportees to a 3rd country....your joy is at odds with the opinion of one of your most revrered right wing jurists.

By the way.

60 Minutes exposed the lie.

Over 75% of those deported to El Salvador’s mega-prison are innocent.

No crimes.

No charges.

No justice.

This was a state-sanctioned abuse of human rights.
