Trump's Mass Deportation Plans

When the towers fell on 9/11, I thought it would be a good idea to drape the Statue of Liberty in patriotic bunting. Instead, the Parks Department closed it out of an abundance of caution, fearing it might be targeted.

Now, we are kidnapping immigrants, deporting them without due process of law, or even the right to face their accusers behind cowardly masks. We're putting them sweltering conditions in Lousiana and Florida and bragging about the cruelty. It's one thing to close your borders to the very workers you've been exploiting for decades. It's quite another to demean them as if they were subhuman vermin.

Today, I'm increasingly afraid no one will have the courage to bomb the Statue of Liberty. One or two shoulder-launched missiles would easily obliterate her. I know for sure she is ashamed to be standing there.

Thoughts and prayers.

The opening of an actual new concentration camp in Florida being met with wild cheers from so many people is a really, really bad sign.

It is there to make money. Pure and simple.

It really should just have 'Arbeit MAcht Frei' over the gate.

The people in Government and in charge of the facility will be looking forward to the tales of privation, sickness and even death, because to them, the occupants are now sub-human and they likely do think that this
will cause millions to self-deport.

Just like the child separation travesty in the first Trump term, there is no way for the US to come back from this now in any normal way.

"The snakes are fast, but alligators [are faster]. We’re going to teach them how to run away from an alligator."

—the President of the United States of America, joking about desperate migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers—men, women, and children—being torn apart by alligators, should they try to escape his concentration camps in the Florida swamps, July 1st, 2025.

And just to think in our lifetime we've gone from Jimmy Carter talking about human rights to this. :(

I've been saying this where we are headed for YEARS....YEARS! And I am always DISMISSED! As I'm sure I will be again.

NOW IT'S HERE! We are only one gas canister away.

Wait until Mother Nature has a say at Alligator Auschwitz and the next hurricane hits Florida.

I suppose we shouldn't forget that the US has built concentration camps before this.

But this one is different.

And, of course, we already saw pics of the floors being flooded in a rainstorm yesterday.

So it is more likely to be mold and disease that kill the occupants off than gas chambers.

Whatever method they choose. It doesn't have to be gas chambers. It doesn't have to be exactly absofuckinglutely identical. Gas chambers are a symbol of the parallel. It can be mold, injections, electrical, hanging, firing squad, abuse, lack of care, whatever. Dead is dead. And in the end, it's the result of their final solution that matters.

Trump said yesterday, in a Florida interview, he plans to build these camps all across the country.

This place is out in the middle of nowhere in the Everglades. If unemployment is 4% and the conditions are this unpleasant, exactly who is going to be working as guards at a mosquito-infested, warm-logged, swamp? Illegal immigrants?

The guards will be a military assignment where people don't have a choice and will be court-martialed if they don't comply.

Lack of care will be the main thing.

The British concentration camps in South Africa in the Boer War were predicated on eliminating people through disease and starvation.

The Nazi's looked to these as inspriation but found that it took too long and wasted too many resources, hence the acceleration to gas chambers and crematoria that could operate 24 hours per day.

The big test for the US? Will they claim that inmates can be forced to provide slave labour?

Trump is already working on it. It's called "Farmer Responsibility or Owner Responsibility" otherwise known as forced into indentured servitude. Who cares about the 13th Amendment?

This is a little hard to hear. But der Trumpenführer talked about it yesterday.

The broligarcarchy have gamed this all out.

Prisoners under US law can be forced to provide free labour.

Peter Thiel, Musk and Bezos have likely been fapping to the notion of having a basically unskilled and uneducated slave workforce as they claw their way to becoming the planet's
first trillionaires.

They've seen China do it. And of course the Third Reich do it.

Now all these brown catholic latin people can be their slaves.

And then, after that, the blacks.

Meanwhile, ICE Barbie is upset that she didn't get to do a promotional video with [her rumored side piece] Corey Lewandowski before DeSantis showed up on Fox News touting Alligator Alcatraz. Oh... Ron didn't mention that the Florida taxpayers are on the hook for it, so far. The Feds haven't coughed up any money for the millions that it has taken to do their press tours or take care of the prisoners that they are now shipping there.

Supposedly the Trump Administration is trying to divert FEMA funds to pay for their Florida adventure. Hopefully, Florida won't need FEMA money for actual disasters... like hurricanes this summer?

Noem and top adviser Corey Lewandowski supported the facility but wanted the opening Tuesday to be the formal public rollout, two sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.

“DeSantis upset Noem and Lewandowski with his Fox News tour of the detention site,” a Republican operative familiar with the process said. “Noem wanted an event for Tuesday and didn’t want anyone having eyes on the site and needed to push until Tuesday because she was traveling.”

In a new court filing, the Department of Homeland Security says that so far, Florida has not even applied for any federal funds.

Well given that the floors have already flooded like a marquee at a backyard wedding in a July rainstorm, the potential for FEMA having to mop up the mess here is almost a given if an actual hurricane blows through. Too bad though that NONE of the structures or infrastructure are hurricane proof.

I will actually be surprised if this place is ever filled up because of the uninsurable risks...and if it is, it will be a direct indictment of the regime when they are responsible for the manslaughter of so many civilian detainees.

On the other hand, day after day, all those of us outside of the US see is a general agreement by US Americans to allow this to happen, either explicitly or by not challenging it.

Every day, I see how the NAZI regime moved forward.

Several media outlets have released reports of a Federal lawsuit that Kilmar Abrego-Garcia's wife has filed against the Federal government. The filing contains details about claims of torture that Abrego-Garcia received while in an El Salvadoran concentration camp.

DHS got its back up, which usually means that they know it's true.

Oh, and so much for the "innocent until proven guilty" legal predicate in the US Constitution. Hopefully, Abrego-Garcia's lawyers include this tweet in the amended filings. I've never seen the Federal government call a defendant an "illegal alien", a "MS-13 gang member", a "human trafficker" and "domestic abuser" in a public statement.

This is the real danger: Trump's lies have now become the official statements from government agency spokespersons. In the first Trump term, we were still receiving professional communications from governmental press offices, even though the President sounded like a drunk at a bar at closing time. Now, in 2025, we're getting statements that sound like they were written by the Chinese Communist Party propaganda machine.

It would still be unconstitutional without due process, not that it matters to them.
How many of these migrants have had due process?

Amendment XIII
1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime
whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United
States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate
legislation.

As you note...'not that it matters to them'.

I am sure that at some not too distant point in the future, the equivalent of a tribunal will be struck to summarily convict people who have been deemed to be illegally in the country.

A cossover from the rise of fascism thread. The military is once again being used to prop up ICE.

It won't be long before they are deployed all over the country to enforce martial law, I suspect.

And Canada wants to know how ICE managed to kill one of their citizens... he was another one whom ICE kidnapped from a meeting with his probation officer.

Canadian consular officials are pressing for more information from the United States government after a Canadian citizen died while in the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement at a Florida detention center this week.

Johnny Noviello, a 49-year-old lawful permanent resident of the US, was being detained at the Federal Detention Center in Miami while facing deportation over a 2023 conviction for racketeering and drug trafficking, according to ICE.

He was found unresponsive and pronounced dead by the Miami Fire Rescue Department Monday afternoon, according to ICE. The cause of his death is still under investigation, the agency said.

Noviello was arrested by ICE at a probation office on May 15 and issued a notice to appear for removal proceedings, “having been convicted of a violation of any law or regulation … relating to a controlled substance,” ICE said in a news release.
