A topic about shaving.
Not buzzing away along the Mason-Dixon line, as it were... nothing so southerly.
I am referring to face-shaving. And wet shaving at that.
How many of you still do it, in this age in which facial hair is sported by literally everyone, it would appear? Is it becoming a thing of the past; last practiced regularly by our fathers and grandfathers?
I am a daily wet-shaver. I use a double-edge safety razor, shaving soap (applied with a brush), with soothing, moisturising balm applied afterwards.
The only day I won't bother shaving is on ye Sabbath day, and only if I don't have any plans to leave the house.
I have nothing against beards- quite the opposite: a well-nourished, luxuriant beard is a wonderful sight. I just personally preferred it when such a sight was more of a rarity, to be honest.
