I enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting to like it, but it was ok.

Mainly, it reminded me that Dhrama and Greg was a much better show from the same producer.

Ak did good, I think it will be just as funny but in a diferent way. It can't be as funny as it was with CS, they are both good actors in there own right. But Ak brings the Dude where my cars edge to it..

It was OK - but not great. Having had all summer to work on the script if that is the best they had they are in trouble.

AK was alright - but I just don't find him that funny.

The supporting cast as always was great.

It will make it through the season - but since this season completes all the contracts and syndication obligations I am pretty sure this will be the last year.

It was good. Very fast paced, they didn't linger with the past. The episode was packed with laughs, which is all that matters. Jake could have used some more air time though, all he did was fart.

Was expecting a bit more but I'll give it a chance. Demi Moore will make an appearance eventually.

Don't forget, it wasn't the Charlie Sheen show. It was Two and a Half Men, and it couldn't have existed or been nearly as funny without John and Angus. Nor do I think Charlie would have been as funny.

28+ million viewers checked it out, more than double the average for last season.
Next week's numbers will tell the tale, one way or another.
The Dharma and Greg cameo was classic!
Guess a lot of non-regulars like us wanted to see how they killed him off...

Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

I never watched the show with Sheen, and I haven't seen it with Kutcher, but I'd read that the ratings dropped considerably after the season opener. Is anyone here watching it? Will it survive the season and come back for another?

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

Haven't watched it with Sheen, haven't watched it with Kutcher.

I basically avoid CBS like the plague.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

Two and a Half men ratings have dropped but not enough to be canceled. It is still the number one comedy if i'm not mistaken, it still wins monday nights with ease so don't look for it to be canceled unless Ashton's off screen antics get to be too much. I still watch but usually I have a few episodes saved up and then watch. Even with Charlie, Big Bang and Mike & Molly were my must see Monday night shows.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

i watched it a few times with Sheen, not with the new guy (can't think of his name). I never really thought it was amusing, most sit coms aren't.

I'd rather watch re runs of Mad about You or Frasier, they make me giggle like a school girl.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

I hate that show. I hated it with Charlie Sheen, and I still hate it. But I think its slightly better without Sheen.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

I used to watch it until I got to noticing the laugh track... and noticing it more... and more... It got to the point that they were using the laugh track on lines that weren't even remotely funny. It has some humor in it, but not enough to overcome the annoying laugh track. As another poster mentioned, with the kid fully grown now, it loses the entire meaning of Two and a Half Men.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

I watched the first 2 episodes, just to see.

But, I used to work at a CBS affiliate and never liked the show, so I haven't watched since.

I also hated Everybody Loves Raymond. I seem to be the only person in North America who did. CBS once sent me the first season on DVD, I gave it away.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

I watch out of habit, mostly because I can't stand the one hour dramas that are on against it. I don't think that it is as funny as it was when Sheen was on it but it's not that bad.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

Yes, I am watching the show now that my regular show at that time is in re-runs. I watched the show with Sheen also. It's a lot of silliness, but it is a fun show.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

It is doing well in the ratings -

BUT I don't know if it will be back. Alan and Jake have both been on the show for 9 years and are getting big bucks. And they are paying the talentless Ashton a ton to fill in. They had to do this season to fill commitments to syndication contacts where they had guaranteed 9 years worth - but I don't think it will be cost effective to renew.

Re: Two and a Half Men - Anyone watching it?

The new show just seems to be lacking something.

The Ashton Kutcher character obviously suffers from depression and I have never found depression humorous.

His personal life shouldn't have an adverse audience reaction, Charlie Sheen's never did (and he had a lot of shit going on in his personal life for the show's duration).
