That's an excellent solution. I'd even start watching the show for that. I may start watching anyway, since I now know there's a tortured Christian on it.

He doesn't want people to watch his "dirty, filthy show", but he has no problem staying on the "dirty, filthy show" and cashing their "dirty, filthy" checks. If he was truly behind his convictions, he'd either ask to be removed from the show, or just quit.

Typical religious hypocrite: The Almighty God takes a backseat to The Almighty Dollar.

I smell a ploy to re-negotiate his contract, which will backfire horribly. Charlie Sheen tried the same BS, and he was replaced in the blink of an eye. If the actual star of the show can be replaced, what chance does the 3rd banana have?

never saw what was so good about the show to begin with. never watched it and never will. there's no sitcoms on the local stations that are worth watching. the last decent one was my wife and kids.

His Wikipedia page says

Jones asked viewers to stop watching Two and a Half Men, stating that he has severe moral objections to the program due to his beliefs as a Seventh-day Adventist and his belief that Earth is 7000 years old and dinosaur fossils are a hoax planted by the Devil.

I wouldn't give him much credence if that's what he believes. Hopefully he'll lose his job at the show, and disappear from the pages of television history.

--He lives in a house that was paid for with the shows paycheck.
--He does not realize that the only reason that the "church" is promoting him, and encouraging him, is because he IS a star on a HIT t.v. show. If he was working at McDonald's they would not give him the time of day.

...and yet he calls the show "garbage", and that church/cult his "Savior"....

Eh...he started on the show as a little kid, obviously pushed in by his parents. Not saying it's bright to bite the hand that feeds you, but I can understand his annoyance with the show as a child-actor-turned-young-adult. And he's not going to command a lofty $350000 for a week's worth of work on any other show out there, is he (assuming one episode is a week of filming)? And we all know Christians will readily cash in on things they find morally abhorrent for a paycheck, as they'll just repent for their sins anyway.

He's made some pretty bold, career-killing statements though. Hope he's aware.
