Agreed. If he now believes that the show is "filthy", then he should give away all the "dirty" money he earned from the show and everything he bought with it. Of course, he not going to do that.

Also agreed that his church (more like cult) is taking advantage of a confused, immature teenager and milking him for all he's worth. Once the show is over (or they kick him off) and the money is all spent, they'll toss him away like a used Kleenex.

I just left this deliciously subtle and trolltastic comment on the first YT above:

I remember when Kirk Cameron called the producers of growing pains "pornographers" and had his poor co-star fired because she had appeared in playboy. I wonder if Angus is headed that way. By the way this might be a petty thing to say, but how could anyone name a child Angus..... it's horrible.

Could be wrong but the guy appears to be brainwashed and even his programmed remarks suggest some kind of pathology going o. Considering that Angus Jones gets paid $335,000 PER EPISODE, and has been for the past 9 years, it is interesting that he suddenly can't relate to the "filth" that made him a multi-millionaire. Perhaps, now that he has seen the "light" he should donate all that dough to this church who has exposed him to the "truth". Or perhaps that's the whole idea. He almost sounds like a member of the Manson "family" in his narrative, where he basically bites the hand that feeds him. I will give him some benefit of doubt since he has been a child for most of the past 9 years, however, I'm sure his parents hardly saw themselves as selling their son into "filth". Also, at 19, he's entitled to his own beliefs. Still, there's something here that makes no sense. In his new found religion, I would remind Angus to "render to God the things that are God's and to Caesar the things that are Caesar's". He doesn't seem to understand that distinction.

I was thinking the same thing. I think that he actually called them child pornographers. I really enjoyed that girl's character too.

Kirk Cameron, another born again.....has been off the charts for a long time.

I should have saved the link - I read today around last October (?) he was wanting Miley Ray Cyrus to guest star more because he had a crush on her.

Maybe... truthfully, not a bad comedy at all but has gotten in a more risque rut. But damaging to Western civilization? pul-lease. So many silly comedies over the years that may not have given us culture but gave us belly laughs a plenty. And the same guy involved with this show, executive producer Chuck Lorre, is responsible for one of the smartest and flat out funniest sitcoms ever, "The Big Bang Theory". Just hoping Angus is going through a phase...hate to see him in ten years be the next Kirk Cameron. Not cool AT ALL.

There is no apology there.

You can tell that they have him on lockdown and the PR department is just in panic mode.

I love how they note that he won't be on the next two episodes but that this is all co-incidental. I still think that someone's contract negotiations weren't going so well and that he chose a nuclear option to try to sink one of the worst sitcoms ever produced by the laff-trak Lorre machine.

Very interesting. I liked the show with Charlie Sheen, but I haven't watched since he left.
