Part 20

"Oh my god. I just realized something. I have to get a job." Bradley said. "Why?" Marcus asked as he took a sip of his coffee. "I have to pay for college. I have a bit of money saved up in the bank, but not enough. I was planning on having my parents pay for it." "Well I'll help you look." "I'm kind of scared. I've never had a job. I've always depended on my parents." Bradley said. Marcus put his hand on Bradley's hand. "What if I get a job with you? Will that be better?" he asked. "I can't ask you to do that." "You're not asking, I am. And I wouldn't mind the money. I had considered getting one anyways." "Ok then. Thanks." "No prob." Marcus said, and they exchanged smiles.

"That's the sixteenth job we've applied for. I hope we get a call from one of them." Marcus said, as he turned on the car. They pulled out of the supermarket's parking lot. "I hope so too. If not, I'm screwed." "Well I hope you guys get 'em." Casey said from the backseat. Suddenly her cellphone started to ring. "Hello." "Hey Casey. This is Tyler." "Oh hi Tyler. What's up?" Casey asked. "I sorta need a big favor." "What is it?" "Well, lately I've been really stressed and stuff, and I've messed up with school." "YOU messed up on schoolwork?!" "Yeah I know. Stuff has just been getting to me. Anyways, I wanted to see if we could get together and you could just help me a bit with schoolwork. You're like the only smart person I know." Tyler said. "Thanks. Um, yeah that sounds ok. When do you want to meet up?" "I was thinking on Thursday." "Yeah, I'm free on thursday." Casey replied. "Ok then. I'll call you later with the details." "Ok, Bye!"

"What did Tyler want?" Marcus asked. "He needs help with his schoolwork. Apparently, he's had alot of stuff going on lately." Bradley rolled his eyes. "Tyler's an asshole.". He said. "Why do you say that?" Marcus asked. "A lot of reasons." Bradley replied. "Uh, ok then." Casey said. "It's a long story. Don't ask."*

"So have you seen the hot pool guy again?" Casey asked. "Nope. I figured I wouldn't see him again. I don't know much besides his name and that he likes to swim." Bradley replied. "Well you could always just go back to the pool, every so often." Marcus suggested. "That's a little pathetic. If we were meant to see each other again, we would. I'm not going to look for him. And I'm not sure if I'm completely over Jer-...well you know who."*

Dear Infamous,
Thanks for the update.

Reality starts to settle. At least Bradley is thinking a bit more proactively now.
Getting a job so he can start building more money to help him pay for school.

I'm glad he's gotten headed back the right direction in school, and is remembering how important college will be for his future prospects. It's super that Marcus is willing to look for a job with him. I hope they get what they're hoping for - 2 jobs at the same employer on the same shifts.

Well, it's way past time for me to head off to bed.

Take Care.

Part 21

Bradley cried that night, thinking of Jeremy. He missed him. Marcus comforted him as he wept. "I miss him so much. I haven't even seen him since. He doesn't return any of my calls or texts." Bradley said. "Well he's missing out on something great." Marcus said, as he ran his fingers through Bradley's hair. "Thanks." " No prob." "You're such a good friend. Even with everything between us." Bradley said. "What do you mean everything?" "I just meant, that I like you and we've kissed and stuff." Marcus sighed deeply and said "Well none of that stuff is important. I was drunk an-"*

"Stop! I'm sorry for bringing it up, but don't get all defensive. I know you liked it." "No I didn't. It was disgusting and wrong and-" "Please stop! Why can't you just admit that you have a bit of feelings for me?!" Bradley asked. "Because...I'm not supposed to be gay. I don't like these feelings at all. And I'm with Casey, and I love her." "Would you be with me if you weren't with Casey?" "No, because I'm straight. It wouldn't work." "Would you atleast try?" "No. Now let's talk about something else."

"So 219 is the answer, right?" Tyler asked Casey. "Yes." She replied. Tyler wrote the answer on his paper. "Thanks again for doing this." "No problem. I like math anyways." "So um...have you heard about what happened with Bradley and his parents?" Tyler asked. "Yeah, he told me. I feel so bad. I can't believe how terrible people can be." "Well I mean he IS gay." Casey shot him a look of surprise and anger. "But that doesn't matter he's a good person." "I don't know. I don't like him." Casey didn't reply. "Can I tell you something?" Tyler asked. "Yeah, I guess." "I'm the one who told his parents."*

OK, so now I'm glad Bradley didn't torch his parents' house.

He should make sure Tyler is tied up in the basement, THEN torch the house.

Part 22

"Wait what?!" Casey said loudly. "I did it." Tyler admitted. "Why in the world did you do that?! Do you know how much if hurt him?" "You have no idea how much he's hurt me. He's messed with me." Casey rolled her eyes. "What did he do?" she asked. "He tried to make me gay and convinced me to have sex with him." "Bradley's not like that. I know he wouldn't do that. If you guys did have sex, then you must have wanted it as much as him." "But I didn't! He made me!" Tyler said. "I'm not going to listen to this anymore." Casey replied, as she stood up. She started to put her things in her backpack. "Please don't tell anyone about all of this." Tyler said. Casey didn't say anything, and left.

"I hate the fucker!" Marcus said, as he pounded his fist on the wall. "Stop! I don't want you to do anything stupid." Casey said. "Well he deserves to get beaten up. He caused Bradley so much pain." "Listen. Just calm down and think before you act." Marcus took a few deep breaths. "Now, do you think we should tell Bradley?" Casey asked. "I don't know. Probably not." "But it is about him and his parents. Doesn't he have a right to know?" Casey asked. "Well yes, but it would just hurt him even more. He's barely starting to get over everything with his parents." "Ok then. We won't tell him." Casey said.

Bradley looked around. He was at the public pool, hoping to see Oliver. He sighed when he couldn't find him. "If only I had gotten his number!" he thought. He sat down in a chair by the pool. The image of Oliver stuck in his head. He really liked him. Oliver was cute and very sweet, yet manly. He wanted to see him again.

"You're really falling for this guy, aren't you!" Marcus said, as he got into his bed, next to Bradley. They were both naked. "Yeah, I guess. Something about him." Bradley replied. "Well I'm glad you're getting over Jeremy." Marcus quickly looked at Bradley. "It's ok. You can say his name." "Uh, ok." Was all Marcus could say. "So...do you need anymore favors?" Bradley asked, and he pulled up the sheet and looked under. Marcus pulled the sheet back down. "Don't look at my dick! That's just weird!" Marcus said. "But sucking it was ok?" Bradley asked, laughing. "That was different! And I just don't want you looking at me in that way." "Uh, what do you think I fantasize about when I jerk off?" "Ok, now this is really weird. I'm going to sleep." Marcus said. "Even with that hard on?" "Shut up!" Marcus said, and Bradley laughed.*

Dear Infamous,
The bombshell - not unexpected, unfortunately, followed by Marcus, poor, poor Marcus.

All these nights - he doesn't have another bed in the house for Bradley to sleep in, and they always go to bed naked?

No, he's not Gay, lol.

Time to go to sleep, flag pole be damned.

Thanks for the updates.
Point and counterpoint - the lighthearted was needed to offset the scumbag.

 (*8*) :D

Bradley should just tell the story about him and Tyler around school. Or tell Tyler's parents.

Ah, drama.

I'm baking chocolate chip cookies to entice Marcus into considering the possibility of joining our team. ;)

Great episode, I think you balanced things nicely. Looking forward to your latest!

Ok where is the milk?...They will not come if you do not have milk to go with the cookies!..lol

Hey guys! So sorry I havent updated. I'll be updating tomorrow! And since it's been a few days, I'll post more than one chapter. Hope you guys still wanna read it!

I agree with BADgreek. Eager to hear what happens next. Personally I'm hoping Tyler gets his soon.

A great story!

I can't wait until the next part comes out; however I do suggest that you do not rush to write them. The quality of the story wouldn't be as good. I'd rather wait and read an excellent story than to read a crappy one instantly.

Again, sorry guys! My new job's been keeping me super busy. Enjoy this chapter!

Part 23

Marcus pulled off his shirt."Man the weather lately. It's fucking hot." Bradley smiled and said "Yeah, well that's not the only thing that's hot." "Oh, come on. Don't say things like that. It weird's me out." "Oh please! You like the attention!" "Yeah, whatever!" Marcus replied, now smiling. The room went quiet for awhile, until finally, Marcus asked "So, do you ever wonder who told your parents?" "Honestly…yeah a lot. I just really wanna know who did it. I miss them." "But wouldn't knowing just hurt you more?" "No. I'm already hurt. Telling me would make me happy." Bradley stated. Marcus took a deep breath. "Look, I know who did it. But you have to promise you won't flip out. I almost did, but Casey stopped me." Bradley's face showed many emotions. Surprise. Anger. Confusion. "You and Casey know who it is and never told me?!" "We didn't wanna hurt you." "Who was it?!" Marcus stayed silent. "Who was it!?" Bradley asked, this time louder. "Tyler."

Bradley threw his fist down on the couch hard. "What a jackass. I should've known! I have to get him back." Marcus sat closer to Bradley and looked at him seriously. "Maybe we shouldn't. Yes, what he did was terrible and cruel, but after thinking about this so much, I don’t think we should get revenge." Bradley almost laughed at him. "Are you serious?! I have to get him back. He caused me so much pain. You've seen how much I've cried!" Bradley said, and his eyes went misty. Marcus hugged him and said "Just think about it. Then we'll decide what to do, if we do anything." "Ok" Bradley said reluctantly. He pulled away from the hug. "I have to go to the bathroom."

Bradley closed the bathroom door. He sat on the sink's counter and grabbed his phone out of his pocket. He looked through his phone till he got to Tyler's number. "Hello?" a voice said. "Tyler. This is Bradley. I know what you did. And if you think you're just gonna get off easy, your wrong. I'm going to tell everyone the truth about you. That you're gay. You're a fag and a queer, not to forget, a jerk. I'll tell them all about us and our fun adventures together. See you Monday!" And with that, Bradley hung up the phone. Tyler hadn't even had the opportunity to say anything besides hello. Bradley smiled.

Bradley had went crazy. He wasn't sure what to do. It was Monday morning and he couldn’t decide. "Should I tell everyone? It will be fair. But it's not right." He thought of all the pain he had went through. After that phone call, Tyler had called him thirty-two times and had left nine messages. Bradley hadn't answered a single call nor had he heard any of the messages. Now that he had somewhat calmed down, he decided to hear them. The first message started. "Please Bradley don’t tell anyone. I'm sorry. I was so stupid. Please." BEEP. Second message. "Bradley please answer you phone!" BEEP. Third message. "Bradley you don't understand. My parents hate gay people. My whole family does. And they will beat me if they find out." BEEP. Fourth message. "Don't. Please don't. I will do anything." BEEP. After hearing the first four messages, Bradley was sure that he couldn't do it. He didn't wanna be like Tyler.

Fifth message. "Call me as soon as you can. I just need to talk. Please…" BEEP. Sixth message. "…Bradley...I can't do this…" BEEP. His voice sounded very cold. Seventh message. "…I'm thinking of…killing myself…please answer…I'm going crazy…I can't handle this…I have a knife…" BEEP. Eight message. "I'm sorry…I know I'm a bad person…" BEEP. Ninth message. It was Tyler crying. "It hurts…and…and there's a lot of blood…I'm sorry…" BEEP.

IG,
WOW. I'm not quite sure what else to say.
It was a short installment but, the power there.

Bradley was hurt, BAD, by what Tyler did, and I understand the lash out.

Tyler - wow. I hope someone found him in time to save him.
He needed to atone, but this is severe.

Thanks for remembering us, and squeezing us in.
I know what you mean about jobs - mine isn't new, but it has been crazy busy.

Take care. I'm looking forward, with some trepidation, to the next installment - when you have a chance!

This souns bad, but Tyler trying to commit suicide makes me dislike him even more.

I mean, he scrwed up Bradleys life, absoutely destroyed it, an as soon as he thinks hes gonna get what's coming to him h takes te coward's way out by trying to take his own life. I hope he survives so that he actually has to live up to what he's done, and has to take responsibility for his actions.
