I know our wealth situation in the U.S. is screwed up, but this map still struck me:

To see it another way, a related one--

Basically, a state shown in blue sends more money to D.C. than it gets back while the reverse is true for brown states.
I find Oregon interesting; in earlier maps it has shown blue, and still earlier brown, then blue again. It makes me wonder how many other states are on that borderline where some years they are on one side of the balance while others they are on the other.

Why isn't this in the news?

In the midst of the worsening economic news, JD Vance delivers a speech in which he claimed that "for the first time in a very long time, workers' wages are rising faster than inflation.."

The only problem? The Trump Labor Dept. reported exactly the opposite, showing real wages falling in June. Oopsie.

shout it from the rooftops enough; maybe, someone will believe you ](*,)

They are just openly and nakedly lying to the US and the world.

I feel the economic boom. Because my investment manager has shifted me to highly defensive shit like gold as a hedge against the disaster about to befall all of us.

At the moment all my corporations are jizzing their pants because of the BBB. But what happens when Main Street stops consuming? What happens when recession occurs? By that time all the big money will have cleared the table of the chips and leave it to the middle class to clean up the mess....again.

Remember when Trump was going to lower the price of 'groceries'? BTW. This is with the impact of early tariffs factored into the inputs.
