Ugly Betty

Actually, Justin isn't gay. In a surprise twist befitting Ugly Betty, they're gonna make Justin straight and will even have a girlfriend later in the series.

Which I think is great cause it dispells so many stereotypes.

I thought of this post while watching tonight's episode. Did you guys see Justin, It was kind of funny to watch, seeing Justin act all macho, and the scene with the makeout session with the girl made me laugh.

Is it me, or does his body look really odd? His abs just seem like someone placed his ribcage where his stomach should be. It reminds me of the photoshopped body of Kyle on Kyle XY. He looks like a bony-muscular (yet to see someone pull the combo off) ugly Clark Kent....still rooting for Sandwich Guy (or Freddy since I don't remember the character's name) to come back and woo her away, followed by Daniel

"...Ugly Clark Kent...?" Ugly?! How DARE you!!! I'm just kidding. If you're not into him, it's cool. Personally, I think he's en fuego. I can't wait for that episode to air.

He's staying because he gets more pay, making it easier to support his kid.

I agree the show isn't as exciting as last season, in my opinion, it's because there's not much mystery now. Before we had Alexis revealing secrets (for a while, it was masked lady...which I had so thought would be Faye....I should have known it wouldn't be that obvious), and plotting the demise of her father and Daniel. This season, with Alexis turning over a new leaf/losing her memory, we only have Ugly Willy. With her plans revealed last episode, I think it's going to get a rise in excitement. I hope there's a showdown between Claire and Willy soon, because the bitch is in need of a slap, and not from Marc.

Yeah. He's grieving by trying to live up to his memory of his father (ever since the store teller told him that he reminds him of his father, but Justin didn't think so). Betty will probably set him straight, and maybe smack some sense into Hilda, because she should know that what he's doing is not healthy.

The show is just not as good as the first season.
The rating is not that good either. I sometime found Betty to be rather annoying sometimes. Especially the scence where she read someone else's material in her writing class and she submitted the material with the actual author's name on the cover sheet ?. The story is just becoming more and more like a daytime soap.
If the rating keeps dropping I don't think there'll be season 3.

The same thing happened to Desperate Housewives, a show that was incredibly popular during its debut season, but suffered ratings slide during its second season, due to bad writing and lack of direction. The third season started off pretty good, but the second half was really bad, and it suffered another ratings drop. Thankfully it seems the show is back on track now, with highly rated, and extremely well written episodes.
But even though S2 of DH was not as good as S1, it was still pretty good. But this season of Ugly Betty is just awful so far.

It's in no danger at all. It's got an excellent 18-49 demo rating. That all the networks really care about.
