Ultimate Fighting Championship

I thought the Bader vs Marshall match was boring as fuck. Man i love Eliot, but c'mon, he dry humped you the whole match!

Then again, i can see why you'd stay down.

Felipe is fucking awesome, and that's all i have to say about him.

how the fuck did i forget to mention Felipe? he throws DOWN!!! could you imagine him fightings someone like Roger Huerta? that would be sweet as hell. it'd be cool to see him duke it out with Andersen Silva too. i think in the end he'd get dominated, but i do believe Silva'd have to actually work for it.

isn't Bader's body just insane? i go back and forth on his face, but his body's fucking TIGHT!!! Vinnie's got a really nice body too. his skin tone is really sexy. that never really stands out for me, but his caramel complexion looks good enough to lick head to toe!!!

anybody watch the fights last night? Miller vs Wiman was definately the fight of the night, but Koscheck's knockout was SICK!!! still don't like the guy, but i gotta admit that he's come along way since TUF.

I did not... i was out doing... ... someone. :)

Oh, and i HATE Koscheck.

figures. you're such a whore Jy. oh well, they'll probably rerun it this weekend...unless you'll be out whoring then too. i know i will;)

gotta say last night's fights kinda surprised me. i KNEW Bader had it in him to win, but i still thought Vinnie was gonna end up dominating him.

i think Efrain surprised me even more. i seriously figured he wouldn't even last a round with Nover, but he was a fucking ON last night. maybe the pressure got to him, but i really didn't see Nover getting dealt with like that.

looks like Junie actually HAS learned a little from his fuckups on the show. last night...THAT was the Junie that should've been competing along. blew me away with how much his standup has improved.

sick ending for Krystoff's fight with Primm. that shit made me cringe(not a word Jy)

I'm at the MGM Grand in Vegas currently, and they had some sort of UFC Championship fight (three, actually) here last night. No, I didn't go - tickets were sold out and insanely expensive, and it ain't my thing, anyway. (I went to see Ka instead, which kicked my ass in other ways.) Sadly, most of the fans seemed to reinforce the stereotype of the "musclehead" homophobe more than anything else, although they added "unattractive" to the mix, as well. I'm sure there were smart and/or accepting and/or gay and/or attractive fans in the mix, as well, but they tended to be lost in the sea...

my baby lost his belt:cry: hate to admit it, but i kinda saw it coming. love Forrest to death, but Rashad is NO FUCKING JOKE!!! mad respect for him. if Forrest had to lose to anybody i'm glad it was him.

I watch as much MMA as I can find, and not just because the men, on average, are extremely hot.

Who's my favorite? Both carnally and sport-wise, it's GSP, hands-down.

I know it's not good to listen to gossip or to engage in it, but both the rumors about GSP make me happy. The rumors, of course, regarding his orientation. One is that he is gay. The other is that he prefers black chicks. Either one or both would fill my mental spank bank for a good long while!

im baaaaaaaack.

mir vs lesnar in may! LETS GO MIR!!

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually scared for Frank. I hope his leg is really good and healed by May. He's going to need every ounce of his strength and every facet of his skill just to overcome Brock's extraordinary size and strength. Mir isn't even going to have the advantage of a large, slow opponent, since Brock is incredibly fast for someone his size, especially on the ground.

I know, I know--Mir is so much more skilled and experienced . . . but every fight, Brock has gotten better.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Brock Lessnar has paid all the dues that would make such a quick rise unequivocally supportable, and I hope Frank schools him. I just don't think it's going to be easy.

Anyway, did anyone watch the PPV tonight? I did. Pretty good night. Nice to see Matt Brown look like he was living up to the potential everyone seemed to think he had on TUF. He was probably fight of the night to me. Mark Hamill is always an inspiration too, and he also kicked some ass.

^
I missed the ppv last night... was invited to a party i wasn't able to goto because i had to work so early in the morning...

I'm so glad to hear Matt Brown whooped some ass though!

Oh, Matt was AWESOME. Vicious, but a class act. I don't want to say too much about it because I'd rather have you catch some highlights online if you can. I'm sure you could catch some highlights on ESPN.com, and they (ESPN.com) also host the web show MMA Live, where they'll likely talk about it. It was a fast fight, but a good one.

im baaaaaaaack.

mir vs lesnar in may! LETS GO MIR!!

i'm seriously gonna try and talk myself into ordering that one.
rooting for Mir, but i gotta admit that Lesnar's kinda surprised. i really saw him going NOWHERE in the UFC.

I just saw a match for the first time this weekend on TV - Sam Stout caught my eye and he won! *swoon*

Just saw today that the new season of Ultimate fighter starts this coming wednesday at 10pm on spike. US vs UK. Looking forward to another season!! (!)

Ok, i'm not bashing or anything. Don't take it that way.
But don't some UFC fights bore you?
It's starts out really cool.. Then they're just like struggling on the floor for a long time. :/

Maybe I Don't watch it enough.
Just seems that way, are there some really good matches?

Well, for me, over time I've gotten to better understand the techniques that come from the different disciplines that mixed martial artists bring to the sport (some come from a wrestling background, some ju jitsu, some boxing, some kickboxing, et cetera), so it interests me when they're on the ground, too. I can begin to understand the strategy involved, and how the smallest adjustment of a limb or the way a guy is gripping can set up for something big. So I enjoy the grappling also.

When it gets boring for me is when they just dance around for a whole round, neither throwing any punches nor taking it to the ground. THAT bores me.

The good fights, of which there are many, are fast-paced and brutal. There are plenty of those, especially amongst the smaller guys (Flyweight, bantamweight, and lightweight), because they're so damn fast.

If you get a channel called Vs., check it out. They broadcast the WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting), which is kind of a farm organization for the UFC in some ways, but also has a much deeper flyweight to lightweight grouping.

You can also get the Ultimate Knockouts series on DVD if you have Netflix or Blockbuster Online. Those are pretty freaking exciting.

If anyone is watch... Dos Anjos and Tyson Griffin are giving an awesome fight... and... well, Junie got his ass handed to him in the first round via guillotine.

the Griffin fight was sweet as hell!!! gotta admit though...that leg lock thing made me cringe. i was SURE his leg would give out later in the fight. definately the fight of the night though. and what about that bulge Tyson was sporting? hadda pause and admire that shit a couple times.

always like seeing Junie get put in his place, but there's something so sexy about that boy.

i was expecting alot more from Bader's fight. it barely held my attention, even though i fucking LOVE Bader's body.

can't wait to check TUF tonight...fucking cable fucked up last night :grrr:

FINALLY caught Griffin vs Evans title match(yeah i know i'm late) and that shit was FUCKING AWESOME!!! that's what i was expecting in the Griffin/Jackson fight. hated seeing Forrest lose the belt(Evans' last ground and pound was BRUTAL!!!), but if he had to lose it, i'm glad it was to Rashaad. can't help but have mad respect for him.

i still can't put my finger on what it is, but Forrest Griffin still does it for me. ya'll don't even know how i'm lustin' after that guy....

they really need to start using headgear, or at least something for the ears...cauliflower ear is just GROSS!!! just sitting down to watch last week's premiere, and one of those UK guy's ears was sick!!!!

you catch Deadliest Warrior, Jy?. gotta finish watching it either later tonight or this weekend maybe, but definately diggin' what i've seen so far

WOW.

Already, a fainter, a herpes lesion, and a guy that could NOT make weight. The latter two gone. So sad...

lol...that shit is kinda fucked up.btw, Deadly Warrior takes a look at possible outcomes of different battle scenarios. like, last week's dealt with what would happen between Apache Tribes and Roman era Gladiators.

damn...that Kevin kid was kinda hot

Junie's lil' brother is HOT!!! be interesting to see him in the house...already looks like he's gonna be in some shit too.

forgot all about Amir Sadollah. can't wait for his his post TUF debut this summer
