watching their 1st fight right now, and i have to say that i'm really kinda excited for Griffin vs Ortiz 2. Forrest could definitely use some redemption after the bullshit Silva fight. plus, hot as i think Tito is sometimes, i'd really like to see him catch a beating

Kosheck vs Johnson could be good. used to have a major hate on for Josh(he had a sweet ass though), but i have to admit that i've really come to respect him. well as fighter atleast.

he's absolutely full of shit--and annoys me to no end, but i gotta admit that i'd let Mitrione gimme a toss. the "meathead" thing really does it for me sometimes.

speaking of annoying fighters, i just finished UFC 105 and Bisping was looking HOT!!! the fight was pretty awesome too it's kinda sweet when he brings his son out after his wins.

Vera/Couture was boring as hell, but i'm diggin' Vera alot lately.

Mike Swick was looking ripped. i was surprised he got handled as easy as he did.

didn't see the Brown fight, but they showed clips during UFC 106, and i damn sure wish i had.

speaking of 106...AWESOME!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!(can't do the shaded thing)









gotta say that i don't remember ever actually being on the edge of my seat watching a fight, but Griffin/Ortiz definitely had me there. it wasn't even that it was the most exciting fight--it was a great one, but i was just really, REEEEALLY pulling for Forrest. kinda freaked everytime Ortiz went for a takedown, thinking he was gonna catch Forrest in patented ground-n-pounds, but Forrest pulled out some great sweeps and escapes when he actually let Ortiz get the takedown.

i was sitting there wishing i could speed up the clock. knew the odds were slim of Forrest knocking Tito out, but i knew he'd take the fight if it went to decision he pretty much owned Tito in the last 2 rounds. i do think that Forrest needs to mix it up more though. he's got vicious leg kicks, and pulls off some sweet combos, but he can be really predictable sometimes. he's lucky that Tito wasn't able to really catch him on one of those leg kicks. i was actually sure that that's exactly what was going to happen.

the other fight of the night(for me) was Sadollah/Baroni. been waiting since his TUF win to see Amir really bring his game to the octagon. he had shaky start, but he didn't disappoint. kind of a shame that Baroni got his face mangled like that...he's kinda hot

hate to admit, but i'd really come to respect Josh Koshcheck's fighting, but that asshole's full of shit. that "poke" in the eye was absolute bullshit!!! personally i don't even think he played it off well. don't know Dan Hardy to well, but i'm hoping he whoops that ass...especially the way Josh called him out.

can't believe i didn't know Minotauro Nogeira had a twin brother in the ufc, but what a fight to get introduced to him.

i don't remember being to impressed with him during his TUF season, but Jason Dent impressed the hell outta me during the preliminaries.

all in all i think the ppv price would've actually have been worth paying, if i'd had to.

well...the TUF finale bored the hell outta me. ended up having to fast forward through the majority of Kimbo's fight. Jones's DQ was bullshit. and it PISSES ME OFF that Nelson won, but atleast it was a decent fight.

can't wait for Tito and Liddell to coach next season, or for them to step in the cage one more time for the finale.

REEEEEEEEALLY can't wait for Undisputed 2010. they'll be showing a preview on Spike's video game awards Saturday.

Fight Night was pretty damn decent last night Tom Lawlor vs Aaron Simpson was niiiiiiiiice!!!! Tom's probably my second biggest UFC crush, but i have to say that i haven't been TOO impressed with what i've seen from him in the octagon--missed his fight with Dolloway. my boy was ON FIRE last night though. impressed the hell outta me in that 1st round. actually he performed well for all 3 rounds.

Efrain Escudero vs Evan something was pretty good. the sick arm mangling finish was reeeeeeeeally painful to watch though.

i liked Gray Maynard vs Nate Diaz too. Nate gets a little annoying with the showboating, but he usually backs it up, so it's all good. Gray's a SEXY little bastard, and he's never really done anything for me before, but Nate's got a boyishly cute appeal to him, that i've never picked up on before last night.

Amir Sadollah vs Brad Blackburn wasn't the most exciting fight, but i fucking LOVE Amir!!! still waiting for him to REALLY cut loose though.

i'm not TOO excited about 109. i like the idea of Coleman vs Couture, but Couture's last few fights have been boring as hell to me.

i AM kinda looking forward to Serra vs Trigg though. he's kinda hot, but Trigg bugs the SHIT outta me, so i'm always down for seeing him catch a beating.

can't wait for Jardine vs Bader at 110!!! Wanderlei Silva vs Bisping, and Stephan Bonnar vs Krystof not even gonna ATTEMPT spelling his last name--dude from TUF season 8 could be pretty good too.

I've already got my tickets, and I am STOKED! That's gonna be an amazing night of fights, to add to the fact that it's going to be in HD, and a huge screen!

Ohhhh shit, 3/27 can't get here fast enough. Totally worth $20, to me.

And btw...there's nothing wrong with watching UFC(or any sports, really) for the eyecandy. I freely admit that I'm not up on all the technical aspects of the sport, and that a few of the guys are EXACTLY the reason I started watching regularly in the 1st place.
