In my experience, hemorrhoids are not reported in a colonoscopy, I assume because they are external. But polyps would have been reported. I am not a doctor, this is based on my experience.
Are hemorrhoids harmful? Will they develop into cancer?

Hemorrhoid are inconvenient blood vessels. They do not, in my understanding, develop into cancer.
What did your doctor explain to you about the colonscopy results?
And what did they say at the digestive center?...I was discharged and refered to the digestive center for "irritable bowel syndrome."

December is a bit of wait but it's also an indicator that the test findings didn't find any urgent issues.I haven't been there yet. My appointment with the digestive center is in the month of December.
After the colonoscopy, I spoke with the nurse. Then I went back home.

Do you still have the problem of not clearing completely?
Definitely more water a gallon a day, Fiber (I use equate from walmart) it will hellp bulk up the stool, Fruits and vegetables STAY AWAY FROM CHEESE AND CHOCOLATE! Exercise especially body twists (hands on hips turning torso) move things along for me. A little strip of red on the turd is not that big a deal could have been from straining (if a stool is hard you might tear yourself straining), Beyond that it could just be a hemorrhoid there are internal ones and external ones, or you could have an anal fissure from sex. Dont psych yourself out don't think negative and try not to think about it.
Travis, I don't know where you live, but in the US, your primary physician receives a copy of your colonoscopy report. You can begin with him for some information rather than just waiting until December. In the meantime, if they or you are suspecting IBS, do some research of your own and check on you diet. What you are eating is just as important as what you are not eating when it comes to your elimination. Stay away from processed and white foods, like white bread and other fiber-less starches. Besides increasing fruits and veggies in your diet, add dried fruits like raisins, figs, prunes. Do you eat things like apples regularly? Stay away from laxatives because your body will become dependent on them. ShadowCat recommended Equate which is just a generic Metamucil. Metamucil is super refined psyllium with other crap added. Just buy some psyllium husk or husk powder.
All of this presupposes you don't have something wrong that prohibits these things. The doctor is your best reference.
These are two things that will benefit your health greatly....I guess I have to drink more water and exercise daily?

An effective exercise for improved bowel function is walking or running. A short evening walk and using a fitness tracker like a FitBit to track your step count is also a great way to ensure that you meet your goals.
