I know. That's why the beach chalets in Scarborough are £135.00 per week....

That's right. I thought they were expensive, I know I would never pay that, but it is a captive audience......
But in Scarborough?
I think they have high rents to pay and therefore charge a lot more than other coastal resorts.
Supply and demand. If nobody was prepared to pay that, they'd have to charge less.
That could be right, perhaps everyone should boycott them...
I thought Scarborough already struggled in comparison to the Benidorms of this world, without overcharging.
It seems OK in terms of visitor numbers - the two beaches are always packed, and all of the attractions are well patronised. But who can really compete with those other places...
Don't ask me. I don't even like the seaside all that much.
