No they didn't and good for them but that is a difference of strategy, the current Republican strategy is horrendous and much of the reason Congress and the country is failing. But that is different from implying that Democrats never have a goal of removing a Republican President. They almost always have that goal even if they cooperating with him.

Your thinking is clouded by ad hominem thinking. You have been taught that evey thing Republicans do is racist and therefore evil. Therefore if Republicans resist a tax increase aimed primarily at them, it must be racist for them to resist the increase. It cannot be, as most businessmen believe, because a tax increase on a weak economy is bad economics. Is it racist for a black President to propose a tax increase that falls primarily on whte taxpayers while giving his own constituants a free ride?

I know KNOW I will get shit for this but it is a troublesome fact.

If there had been no slavery we would not have such a high percentage of Black Americans right?

The UK is amazingly diverse yet only about 2.3 % of the population is black.

So while it was a shit struggle that is still going on and slavery was an inhuman thing to have done. Yet, the black people in America are born with wealth and opportunity that is unimaginable in Africa.

The nominal GDP of ALL of Africa was 1,880.380 Billion USD while the GDP of California was 1,936 Billion USD during the same period. Just about any three states combined trump all of Africa's GDP.

So all and all since the history of slavery in Africa was African's capturing other tribes and selling the to Anglo Saxons for sale in the new world... well I would say the ancestors of those people treated so harshly were the winners in the end.

Still a ways to go in many parts of this country and definitely in different parts of the world.
