So I was up really early this AM. Could not sleep because of my hip but that is a whole nuther story as they say.

I lay in bed under the comforter and it was cold outside. Imean really cold. Nt sure what the temperature was or is but it was damn cold.

I finally got up and went and peed and then took my shower and shaved and flossed and brushed my teeth.

I then took my pills and drank my black cherry juice and got all the garbage ready to go to the dump later when it opens.

I came to work and walked around and then went up to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee and I stood outside to watch the sunrise over the far edge of the valley which I cannot see from the vantage point of my house.

It was gorgeous. All red and pink and beautiful. But my hands really got cold so I came into the office and fired up the computer and here I am checking out my JIB contacts and writing my blog. My hands are still quite cold.

Is blogging an addiction? I think it maybe. Even when I don't have much to say I want to do it just to do it.

I was shocked by the thread yesterday that I had not seen before about the new laws regarding porn sites that are supposed to go into effect week. I think they will be so stupid and restrictive. I am not sure how they will effect me. Probably cut off all contact with photos of nude men engaged in any kind of sex acts including masturbation. What a crock!

So anyway.

Have a great day and peace to you and yours

Well I was up again this AM very early. Nice cool sleeping weather once again last night. Ah that is so good to wake up and feel the cold air and then be all snuggled down under my comforter and just watch the morning break outside my sliding glass doors off the bedroom.

So I just decided to go ahead and get up and come over and get my coffee. I have a very long day today. Big very important group coming in today and lots of work to do to get prepared for their arrival.

So I have my coffee and I have my JUB and now I am getting my blog fix for the day.

Yesterday we cut hay all day long. It was great watching the tall pieces of grass go falling down as the cutter went over it row by row by row by row. A beautiful and mesmerizing sight to watch. So they got one big field cut and now it has to dry and then get baled and then start on the next field and then the next and then the next until it is all done.

Church will start in about 40 minutes and I hope it is not boring. We shall see. Sometimes it is good and sometimes well it is just church. I really go for the Eucharist and not the sermon but if I get a good sermon then that is of course a plus.

peace to you all today and always

Its cold and cloudy today and here it is almost the end of June.

We of course true to from had a huge thunderstorm yesterday afternoon which of course dumped tons of water on our newly cut hay lying in the field. Ah the life of a farmer is sometimes shit!

The sermon yesterday was pretty good actually. All about prophets and how hard it is to be a prophet and to live the life of a prophet. The preacher was a guest preacher so that was why the sermon was pretty good.

Today looks like more rain and more cold so I guess I will be in side working on some projects I need to finish up.

peace to all of you

Oh yeah as I check my calendar it really is Tuesday. I had forgotten for a moment. Imagine that.

Great day yesterday. It just flew by and so much happened that was good and fun. Sort of a gray day for most of the morning but then the afternoon was brilliant sunshine and cool breezes.

I finished the book I am reading with a few glasses of wine last night.

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Amazing book Really truly amazing to read. All this stuff. He also wrote Blink which is another amazing book. This guy is good. Lots to ponder and think about.

So as the fog is lifting out of our valley this AM and the hay is covered with dew which will hopefully dry soon and the sun is starting its trek across our sky I wish all of you a wonderful day.

Oh yeah I did find out from a friend that a guy I used to work for many years ago committed suicide about three weeks ago. Tragic. Why? Who knows. He blew the back of his head off with a high powered gun. He left behind a wife and two kids. Why again? Who knows? I had lost touch with him over the past several years so it wasn't like we were close and we wee never close but still it makes you think. What could be so bad that you would buy a new gun wait two days and then blow your brains out. We will never know.

peace to you now and always

Today started out pretty foggy which is usually a good sign around here of a great day to come. Lets hope so. Maybe we can get some of this hay raked and baled today.

Worked in vegetable garden yesterday some and around the office some and went into town for some errands and my skinny latte.

I have a doctors appointment for my hip today. We shall have to see what he says. I mean what can he say other than live withe the pain or have a hip replacement surgery. I have absolutely no cartilage left in my left hip. Zero. Zip. Nada. So as a consequence of that I am in pretty much constant pain and can only do so much before I know I have over reached my boundaries. But I usually do it anyway as I just can't stay still. I have to be up and walking and working and all that stuff. Can't let a little thing like a hip replacement keep me down!

So anyway that is my day.

peace to you on and in yours

Well today is Thursday as if you didn't know.

Yesterday was hay making day and it was good. Nice and breezy and sunny all day. The tractors go out and rake the hay up so the wind and the sun will dry it and chase the green out of the hay. Then after it is ready the tractors with their rakes pull the hay into long rows which then are gobbled up by either a round hay baler or a square hay baler. I love to sit there and watch the baler gobble up the hay and then spit out the bales like big square or round turds which then then leave all over the field.

Then if they are square bales you have to hurry and get them picked up before any dampness or water gets on them as that will ruin them very quickly. The round bales don't care. So it is fun to watch all the shirtless muscle bound redneck mountain boys run around and pick up the bales straining their muscles just for me. I could sit there and watch all day long. But then of course the illusion is broken when they actually talk or say something stupid or spit tobacco juice.

So anyway that was most of my day. I will say I did shoot quite a load yesterday afternoon and in fact I did 2 in the afternoon and one at night before bed. *|*

More hay fields to cut and bale today! O:)

peace to you all

Well its Friday and of course that means for many of you my readers you will be all excited all day long because the "weekend" starts this afternoon.

I have never really know what a weekend is because of my job in the hospitality industry. And this weekend is no different.

I can be found in the hayfield ogling at the redneck stupid ass hunks picking up bales of hay. Is that terrible that I classify them like that? They really are. It is not their fault they are the way they are but they are what they are.

Their trucks all have rebel flags on them and they all have rifles and guns and most of them drink mountain dew and chew tobacco and spit everywhere but for some reason God has blessed many of them with bodies to worship at least from afar. Once you get close enough to hear them talk it kind of turns you off to the whole thing.

I mean they are nice enough but they are just not extremely smart and they really don't seem to want anything more out of life than a few beers at the end of the day and maybe some reefer and a quick fuck.

I know I shouldn't judge them and maybe I am or maybe I am not but anyway that will be my "weekend".

peace to you all no matter what you do.

More hay making with the gorgeous redneck boys.

One of them has a body to die for. He could be a Bel-Ami model or something. Gorgeous muscles and a great tan on his arms and neck.

He was a true redneck. I offered him a bottle of water yesterday and he accepted. He took off his shirt at one point to wipe all the sweat off his upper body and I thought I would burst inside. I was hard as rock.

Great six back abs and completely hairless chest. Nice little dome sized nipples and great black pit hair. Loved to watch the sweat rolling down his chest. Nice treasure trail as well.

But then he opened his mouth and shit spewed forth as he talked crap with his buddies.

Ah well. The illusion was ended.

peace to all

Its Sunday and something happened last night that almost never allow to happen in my life at least since I was much younger than I am now.

I went to a 50th birthday party for the wife of a friend of mine and I drank Scotch and I well got mighty tipsy. I was not in control and I do not like to be out of control at all.

I slept in this AM until 7:30 AM and did not get home until 2 AM. For me that is very late.

I feel like absolute shit this AM and for the first time in many years I am going to bag church.

So that was my evening.

peace

Yes all of the above is true but it is not a huge deal.

I thought it was so strange that I was not having any subscribed threads in my box all day yesterday.

I had carefully cultivated my list and so that is hard to know that I have lost some threads that I probably won't know about for weeks to come as I can't always check every new post each and every day.

Oh well as I said its not like it is the end of the world.

So have a good day and peace to all

Well its now Tuesday. All the hay is cut and laying on the ground curing and wouldn't you know it we had a storm last night so it got wet. We shall see what the weather will be today. Hopefully sunshine and breezy so we can finished rolling the stuff up into bales and get on with something else.

Although I will be sorry to see my "country redneck boys" leave. Speaking of my boys yesterday one them had a friend who came by to visit and he was so totally different than the rest. He went to college and obviously did not lift hay bales for a living. He was wearing shorts and had this killer tan and curly blond hair and gorgeous eyes. His Adams Apple was pronounced and his voice was low for a kid who may have been 18 or 19 years old.

Great long stick legs and I heard him talking about running cross country. Blond curly hairs on his legs and he kept rearranging his crotch all the time the way jocks do around each other. He had an easy laugh and his underwear stuck out over the top of his shorts.

He stripped off his shirt at one point and I popped a huge boner and started to leak precum all over my self. I swear I did. I am not lying. Great little dime sized nipples and terrific pits and a curly blond treasure trail. His navel was an outy and so cute. He was obviously spending a lot of time this summer out in the sun as he was so tanned. probably playing tennis or lying by the pool.

At one point he turned around to talk to someone in his group and he pulled his shorts down across those bony hips and I could see about 3 inches of his incredible ass crack which was white. His tan line was so obvious and pronounced.

I really thought I might cum right then and there and I sort of felt like a "dirty old man" or something watching and staring. He was so legal and damn he got my juices flowing.

He never really paid any attention to me or the few other "old" guys sitting around waiting for the weather to change. I mean why should he? Like other guys his age we are not even on his radar screen. They don't even know we exist. Just a bunch of fat older balding hairy guys sitting on the tailgate of a truck drinking water.

But hey I can have a fantasy can't I. When I got home I jerked off thinking about him and so in a way I had him if only in my dreams. Ah well.

Sort of pitiful isn't it?

peace to you all today

We were lucky yesterday. All around us in the neighboring towns it poured rain yesterday but we did not get a drop. What's up with that?

So the hay that is cut continues to cure and maybe if we are really lucky today we can bale it up and then it will be done until September when we get to do it all over again. I will miss my redneck boys until then.

I watched a movie last night called The Color of Paradise. It may have been one of the most visually beautiful films I have ever seen. :=D:

It was about a blind boy in Iran and the countryside. I must be like so many Americans. So damn ignorant about countries in that part of the world. The countryside is lush and green with rivers and fields and farmers. I guess I thought of it as desert or something. But it was beautiful. Shows how ignorant one can be sometimes.

I don't like that at all. Oh well.

Hope you all have a great day.

I went to town in the morning to do some errands and pay my Visa bill at Bank of America. I found that I can pay it at the bank on the last day it is due and not have to worry about the mail and when it will arrive. Or if it will arrive. Makes things much simpler.

I also stopped for my skinny latte and it was good. Two shots of expresso!

Cloudy overcast but warm day yesterday which was good for most of our hay. We were raking it yesterday afternoon into long windrows and then following behind with the balers. Round and square.

All my beautiful redneck buddies were all there showing off and taking their shirts off and spitting tobacco juice and laughing with each other and grabbing their crotches and talking about who they would "fuck" tonight. Typical shit for them but they can be forgiven because their bodies below the necks are just so awesome.

Then the clouds started to come in and we knew it might rain. We hurried along but the tractors and balers can only go so fast. You can't go faster than they can go even if you want to. It started to drizzle some but not enough to make a difference so we got all but three fields baled up. What a relief. :D

Hopefully today the rest will be finished.

I watched the film Color of Paradise again last night this time with some friends. This maybe the best film I have ever seen. Can I believe I just said that? But it may just be true. I can hardly express in words what it says to me and the colors and the story and the sounds. WOW!

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers today and always peace

Yes my friends and loyal readers it is Friday once again. I am working this weekend and next week maybe the busiest week in my whole year. But it is also fun to be busy so I can't complain. It means $$$$ so I guess that is good.

Well all the hay is rolled except for one very small very tiny field. My redneck boys have left for another field somewhere up the mountain. I wonder if the next old man will have fantasies about them like I did! ROTFL! I doubt it.

I got a lot done yesterday and that always feels good. I heard from some friends and that is always good. I had three great wanks and that is ALWAY GREAT! At 56 I can still shoot a huge load and for that I am eternally grateful.

So lots to be grateful for today and always.
peace my friends

I am up early.

We had a huge storm blow through last night but it only lasted about 30 minutes or so. The lights flickered for a few minutes twice and I had to shut the windows on all sides of the house as the wind was blowing from everywhere. It was weird. Lots of rain in a sort time and then it cooled off and was gone and I opened all the windows and sliding glass doors again to blow through the house and get cool.

Today is supposed to be a nice one.

Lots of folks traveling for the holiday weekend. Stay safe and have fun and if you must use fireworks please be careful.

peace to all

Sunday

I am up pretty early today doing some things that needed to be done and getting my coffee and checking my e-mail and JUB.

I posted a new Chapter in my story yesterday and thought I might have a few comments this AM. But nada, zip, zilch, nothing.

Guess everyone was out have a good time for the holiday weekend! I hope so. LOL! At least 59 people viewed it so that is good.

I had friends over to grill out salmon and tuna steaks and squash on the grill with French bread rolls, salad, homemade spicy peach chutney, wine.

For dessert we had a chocolate angle food cake, homemade and chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

Great conversation and a beautiful cool night. Cool clouds in the sky. We had a huge rain earlier in the afternoon which cooled everything off and that was nice. As the friends were from the flatlands they were shivering on the deck. Shivering in July. LOL!

Today I already got the Sunday paper and then church and then back to work for the rest of the afternoon.

Oh yeah yesterday I had to go to town ealry to do some errands and I saw this guy just for about 2 minutes but he has the most amazing Adam's Apple which I couldn't stop staring at. he was OK looking but wow. Things fantasies are made of!

Hope all of you have a great day.

peace

People certainly have a fascination with fireworks don't they?

Do you?

Do I? Not really. Yeah I do like to see them but they just seem to go on and on and on and on. I get bored after a while.

I just mostly like the finale when they all go off at one time and the whole sky is lit up in one huge display.

I hope your fourth was a good one. Mine was OK except for losing my blog entry yesterday. I am still bummed out but won't repeat it.

Work was OK yesterday.

More of the same today. Two meetings today and lots of activity.

peace to all

Sorry I have taken so long to write today. Actually I forgot until just a few minutes ago. Guess my memory is going to pot or is shot or something! LOL!

Not a whole lot going on in my life but around this area things are bustling with the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. Guys in skirts are taking over every hotel and campground in the area and the sound of bagpipes and drums is everywhere.

Town was insane today trying to get around.

Grandfather Mountain is a beautiful place but this weekend it is a place to stay away from unless you are Scottish or competing in the games.

peace to all

Today is Thursday and I go for my semi-annual visit to the dentist.

I actually love to get my teeth cleaned and do not mind the dentist at all. I have been going twice a year to the dentist since I was a very young kid.

Most people I know take better care of their cars than they do of their teeth but when you think about it when you have a tooth ache it affects your whole being. Not sure why people are so scared of the dentist. I have never been.

I come from a large family with 8 kids and when we went we all went. Our dentist blocked off the whole afternoon and all of us went and he let us explore his office, help with everything he did, push the buttons on the chairs, spit in the bowl (remember when they actually had spit bowls!) and be in the room with the other kids if we wanted to. Nothing phased him and that is probably why I don't dread visits to the dentist.

It is raining here today and they say we might get up to 8 inches of rain in the mountains. To bad for the Highland Games but the storm is supposed to move out quickly and be gone by tonight so that should be good but of course not for the opening ceremonies tonight.

peace to all today and always
