yes fans here I am in the cyber flesh so to speak.

I had a very spirit filled and ehausting time in NO with our mission trip. It was such hard work for this 59 year old out of shape overweight guy. But it was worth it I think for the realtionships we built with the 2 families we helped and the wonderful black church we attended.

We slept on cots in 2 big rooms at the church. Guys in one and gilrs in the other.

I got to see lots and lots of naked and almost naked men during my time there. There were young teenagers and old men like me. The whole range of ages.

Technically we are not supposed to be in the same room but conditions what they were there was no other way.

We had communal showers as well and I had not been in a shower with other guys in 30 years I think. OMG I was in heaven seeing all thoses cocks and balls and abs and cute guys as well as just normal guys as well as old farts like me. I had forgotten what it was like in my youth in communla showers. I almost got an erection a few times but was able to keep the old boy down.

All sizes and shapes which I love. It is what makes us so unique and so beautiful.

Then back for turkey day with friends and now back at work.

The weather has been cold here and they are making snow up on the slopes. The sun is shinning today.

Well after a gorgeous sunny day yesterday last evening we started to get sprinkles of rain which continued all night and into this morning. Not a huge amount but at least it is wet and at least it is some much needed rain.

I am trying to dig out from under piles and mounds of paperwork, e-mails etc at work. Boy going away is nice but coming back can be overwhemling.

Well lets see what day is this today. I can't seem to remember. Oh yes it is Thursday. So the week is winding down for most folks. Damn i would love to have a job once in my life where I could relaly look forward to being off on weekends like most folks. But alas my bread has come from jobs where weekends are just another working day and they all blend together.

My time in NO has been hard to process. yes there was the dick sightings which at my age were wonderful. There was the play among the teenagers in the group that was fun to watch and be part of. so much energy. I have forgotten not ebing around so many young people. So full of life and so beauitful. their bodies ready to mature and just wondeful to be around.

The relationships we built with the folks we were working with. The work was hard. I mean relaly hard but that was good. I used muscles I needed to use. I got tired. So very tired but it was a good tired. And watching so many folks who relaly knew what they were doing was a delight. I carried and handed and carried and fetched things for the ones who knew what they were doing.

And then in the late afternoon we would go back to our room. All the "guys" and I would watch them just strip down and I would do the same. No one thought I was odd or they didn't say so if they did and I never thank god sprung a rod. There were some with bodies old and hairy like mine and others who were in very good shape. Gods here on earth. Things fantasies are made of.

There would be laughter as we wewnt into the showers and then standing around the few shower heads with each other soaping up and washing bodies and cocks and balls. Sometime young persons would stand in my group and there might be 4-5 of us soaping while one rinshed and then we would take turns and I would watch and talk and laugh while we washed and soaped and rinshed.

No one seemed to mind or notice that I looked . Oh god how I wanted to wash them but I didn't.

Then great food lovenly prepared and then programs at night and church services and wonderful singing and then games of dominos, cards, cranium, singing.

Hope I have given a small glimpse into my week.

Very cold this morning with frost everywhere as I made my latte in my nice warm kitchen and then went outsdie to drive to work. Frost covered the ground and it was beautiful as I drove.

The cows were out in the filed and my farmer neighbor friend was out hauling haybales to feed them. Steam was coming out of their nostrils and they seemed as happy as a cow can be by the site of a nice bale of hay to eat on a nice frosty morning.

The the sun came out and it has been nice and sunny and warmer all day. Really a great winter day in the mountains of Western NC.

So what did you do today? Sleep in? Do housework? What?

I have been working. Went to the PO to get the mail. Drove to town to go to Wal-mart to purchase gifts for my sharing tree angels. A young boy who is 3 and a young girl who was 3 as well. I enkoy the shopping these for anynonomous people each year. I hope my gifts can make their christmass a bit brighter.

I also spread fertilizer and potash on my small garden. It is supposed to rain tomorrow which will disolve the fertilizer and potash and allow them to work their way down into the soil and hopefully make it richer.

Had a great afternoon wank in my easy chair while gazing out my sliding glass doors at the lovely mountian in front of me and then a nice nap.

Then a good read in my chair and now back at work for a few hours before going home to a beer and a movie.

Very cloudy today and not as cold as it has been in the morning. I think someone at church said it is supposed to rain later today. that would be good for my garden and the fertilizer I spread on it yesterday.

The sermon today was pretty boring. If it wasn't for my friends and the Eucharist each week i am not sure I would go but that is my reason certaintly not the terrible preaching we get.

So today is pretty quiet. How is yours?

Well it has turned very cold this week and pretty windy as well.

Yesterday I was up on the mountain and it was so freaking windy and cold I was dancing around trying to keep warm. OMG it can get cold and windy up there.

But the sun was shining and it was gorgeous out in the woods never the less.

I am reading Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert like it very much.

Did I say I read Water For Elephants and also liked it a lot.

Yes I know you think I work all the time and I have to admit I do work a lot and I love what I do but this weekend I am off and in fact in about 1 hour I will go home and pack my bags for a short trip to the big city of Asheville where I will stay with some friends and just have a weekend away.

This morning my whole deck and stairs were a sheet of ice and it was difficult getting off the back stoop. I had to hold on very tight and really go carefully.

The sun has come out now and the temperatures have warmed up now.

Winter is not supposed to be balmy like this. Not good for our winter weather. We need cold to make snow around here.

I went to visit friends who live in Asheville this past weekend and we went out to hear some music and catch some dinner. We drove home to their place around 11 PM and what did we find in their back yard but 3 nice sized black bears. They looked at us and we at them and I was so entranced but also so glad I was inside the car. They wandered off and we went inside.

Wow it was cool.

Tonight I am trying some baked polenta with parmesan cheese and mushrooms and sweet italian sausage and then pork chops with garlic and rosemary. I am having a few folks over and read these recipes in the new issue of Gourmet.

Wish me luck. of course with a few bottles of wine anything can taste good.

Yes that is my middle name this week as I am not getting much time to come on JUB and write and look at pron but hey I guess my job does come first doesn't it???? LOL!

That doesn't mean I don't love you and miss you when i am not here.

We are getting a misting of rain today and it is warmer and cloudy today.

Must get out not and do some maintenace work on our mountain roads.

Sorry I have been called away and just got back and lots going on in my personal life and professional life and well here I am.

Now for the weather report which I know you have all been waiting for. ROTFL!

It has been quite cold this week with snow mixed in and it has been great weather. I love it! Sunny and cold and breezy and beautiful. Love the white stuff on the ground.

Christmas parties going on everywhere and that has been fun.

Gift buying and giving at this time of year.

I have given a lot of gifts through a group called Seva which does lots of great work around the globe for those in need and keeps their administration costs as low as possible so more of our money goes to help folks. Lots of work in Nepal and Tibet which I like.

So that is it. I will check back in when I can.

I have been in the woods alot this week cutting trees and sawing them into boards. It is wonderful to watch the sawmill guy do his magic with the trees. It is good hard work to take the boards and stack them in perfect stacks so they can dry for a few months in the air before we take them to the kiln to be furhter dried so we can use them in a new building and for other projects. Cherry, bass wood, poplar, oak, hickory, black beech and others. So beautiful when you take away the bark and expose the inner flesh of the tree and how beautiful and unique the different woods are. But it has been freaking fucking cold as the proverbial witches tit up there on the mountain. After awhile one just gets numb to it all.

Hey everyone. Glad to be back. Did you miss me???

Holidays are everywhere and demand so much time. I am not relaly into my family for lots and lots of reasons includng lots of physical and tons of verbal abuse as a kid growing up but one has to do it sometimes.

My dad is just a shit. My step mom is a witch and most of my brothers and sisters are into their own world of country clubs, tennis clubs, shopping, amassing fortunes, driving big cars, having lots of children, taking expensive vacations.

Throw in a religious christian evangelicle right wing jerk brother, a facist sister and well keep on going and mutiply it by 100 time and you get the picture.

I do have one really hot uncle and 2 very very very very hot nephews and a very drunk aunt who loves to make scenes.

So do you get the picture of family love and the Waltons???

They think I am weird and they are right I suppose. I am so different. How could I have come out of my fathers dick? I am not sure because although I look like them in some ways I am totally different. They think its weird I live in the country and that I like to do farmer things and that I read a lot and love movies and food and cooking.

I should write a book about them. Maybe someday. So now that is over and done with for at least another year I hope and I can live my life as I want.

Anyway I missed my porn and I missed my blog buiddies.

Hey everyone I am sorry for my rant yesterday. I think it was the mix of overeating, over drinking and over family that pushed me over the rant edge. The sugar did it.

But I do realize that I am very much to blame for it all as well. My inability to say who I really am to my family eats at my soul and the fact that they have no idea of who I really am or what I really feel is hard. And that is my fault. I can't get over that hurdle and just annouce to them. "Hey what the fuck I am gay!" It is not really very fair to them not to know but...being in my little virgin old man closet is so familiar.

In many ways it is harder to keep the secret and the lies than come out and say the truth but I have lived the lie for so long it is comfortable. Like a well worn jacket that I wear and just can't seem to get rid of.

So yes my father is a bastard and nothing will change that and my step mom is a bitch and that won't change and my family is what it is and I am what I am.

So....having this blog and this space to rant sometimes is good for the soul and well it is my blog and I can say what I want can't I?

The weather here has been rainy which we really need so badly but I wish it was in the form of snow for the skiers and all those around here who depend so much on the ski indistry for their livelyhood.

We fishished up cutting our trees and sawing them into boards. There is something so magical about that process. The tree grows for years and grows and then it reaches its maximum life potential and we cut it down and then cut the limbs off which we will use for firewood and the rest stays on the florest floor where it will rot and nourish the forest floor. Then we take the logs and saw them into beautiful boards. The sawdust shoots out of the mill as the blade cuts a perfect line through the logs. One side then flip to the other and then flip and flip until you have a big square and then slice and slice and slice those perfect boards which are then stacked in high 6 or 7 foot stacks of boards upon boards which then will air dry for 2-3 months in the woods before being taken to the kiln for further drying so they can be used inside. The outside slabs are also air dried so we can cut them and use them for kindling next season. Nothing is wasted.

What a beautiful process. Nature at work. God at work. Using God and using nature.

But we don't clear cut. We are very intentional and selective in our cutting so the rest of the trees can continue their growth and will at some point in the future provide us with more trees and more lumber and more boards and firewood.

Happy New Year and my wish remains the same that somehow our mad and fractured world can find some peace and stability in this new year and stop its mad downward spiral towards the abyss of chaos.

I was able to watch 239 movies last year and read over 150 books as well as do my full time job of 40-60 hours a week.

I also had the joy of entertaining many folks in my house with dinner, wine, beer and perhaps if they were lucky a movie.

I was also able to travel and visit friends around the country.

I was blessed to have a good job. Some of it was stressful with my shadow but overall I am truly blessed.

I am blessed with a good church family.

I am blessed to live in a beautiful area of the country full of nature and the joys of watching nature.

I am blessed with a few good friends through JUB and the internet for which I am truly thankful each and every day. Your support helps me each and every day. I am not sure what a guy like me would do without the magic of the internet.

I am blessed with an active and fertile imagination which helps me through the day and allows me to dream of beautiful men.

I am blessed to be able to get an erection anytime I want one and to be able to enjoy jerking off 2-3 times a day.

I am blessed as I hope you are.

Thnaks for your readership of my humble blog and I look forward to a great year in 2008 full of lots of weather reports, an occasional dream or two and lots of man watching.

I was out today and my balls shrunk up like little walnuts. Damn it was cold out. I mean windy and really cold. Down around 8 degrees or so and about 2-3 inches of snow.

Now the sun is shinning and the roads are melting but it is still freaking cold out. Got to love it!

But I do love the cold weather and have been out most of the day. I am cold through and through but still good.

Sunny and cold. Maybe a half inch of new snow but nothing compared to what the rest of the country up north is getting. OMG Maine is getting hit but then they are used to it aren't they?

Oh yes before I forget I am off for part vacation and part buisness next week and will be out of touch for 2 weeks I think. So you will have to make due with re-reading my old blog entries. ROTFL! Now that should make for some interesting and very booooring reading I should think. Hope you can survive.

But I will be here for a few more days but just wanted to warn you so your could prepare.

I saw that one of my heros has gone to kenya to try and talk some snese into the leaders to stop the violence. Desmund Tutu is an amazing man and I hope he will be able to talk some sense into the men who are directing the violence.

So its Saturday and I have been to the store for a bit of a chat and to pick up my mail and to purchase a present for my hosts on my trip next week.

I am now putting on my hiking boots to go for a walk up in the woods in the snow and see what tracks I can find.

I love the deer, bobcats, turkeys. I want to find a bear but have never seen their tracks in the snow. I have found their poop or scat as it is called when it has not snowed but not in the snow.

It is sunny today and not as cold as it has been.

How about that weather in CA???!!! OMG. 10 feet of snow up north and rain and mudslides down south. This has been an unusual weather season all over the country.

Well here I am back in my little lost valley in the middle of nowhere but happy to be back. It is alwasy nice to come home after a time away. At least it is for me.

I was in the big city of SF and on the west coast for almost 2 weeks. I felt like such an old country hick out there.

Saw wine country and tasted some great wines and a few days went a bit over my limit.

Saw the ocean and the rocks and the seals and it was awesome.

Saw redwoods and fungi and moss on roofs and wondered how folks can live in those forests and stay sane. I would need some sunlight.

SF was amazing. Never really saw any hot guys or really gay guys but where does a guy like me look for that? I did see lots of tourists and lots and lots and lots of homelsss people who were really down on their luck. So many folks out there asking for a handout. Lots of great street preformers out at night and I loved being up at night and having so many folks out on the street.

I walked and walked and walked and loved it. Saw the incredible Asian Art Museum, ate lots and lots of great food. Went to Boulevard Restaurant and had one of the best meals in my entire life and sat by the meat station and dessert station and watched this incredibly hot guy work his magic with the meat in their wood fired over. He talked to me but semed to be very straight. he talked to the dessert chef about his girlfriend so well....but I enjoyed watching him never the less. He was my jerk off dream that evening as I had a great wank in my hotle room before drifting off to sleep.

Went to Grace Cathedral and that was cool

Rode trolley cars and cable cars and that was cool as well as buses.

Then home to sleet and snow and ice and cold but that was cool as well.

Cloudy and cool today but not frigid but I think this weekend it is supposed to be cold again.

Trying to literally dig out from 100's of e-mails and lots of letters and phone calls while I was away. Funny how you can be away but the work keeps on piling up.

Well here it is Friday and I must say I have had a very productive if not busy week here at work. I did finally get caught up on all my piles of work which awaited me upon my return and thus here I am with a few hours to kill looking at great looking guys who are willing to show off their bodies to old foggies like me. Cold and sunny today but it is nice.
