Wow we have had some great early spring days this week. WOW. All the flowers are pushing their green heads above the mulch we keep throwing on them to keep them down in their beds of earth for a few mopre weeks.

But the jonquils and daffodils and crocus are coming up and showing their beautiful colors after a winter of being asleep.

I was out in the woods today and enjoyed the smells and the leaves.

Oh yeah the other day I looked out my back door and watched 7 deer as they made their way cautiously through the rhododendron forest on their way down the pasture to the creek for water. It was so great to watch them as they all made their way down the hill and as they just effortlessly jumped over the fence seperating the woods from the pasture.

I also walked along the creek which is full and rushing due to the rain we have had the past 2 weeks. It is nice to see all the water but we are still under drought conditions in NC.

Question from a virgin: When you have sex do you remove all your clothes and then later for sleep put some of them back on? In the movies very often you see guys who have their underware on after having just had sex and that seems so weird to me. I would think you would be naked and then leave everything off to sleep. Just a weird question for all you active sex friends.

I love today cause when we walk into church and get a plan leaf and then I spend the next hour or so when I should be listening to the sermon making little crosses out of my palm leaf and having a great time doing that. I got 3 out of my leaf today. the most I have ever gotten was 5.

I watched a film called Hitman last night about this amazing killer for hire who goes around the world killing off people for some big organization who controls the world through its killing of various people. Some bad and some good but most bad.

Secretly deep down in my soul I would love to be a Hitman and watching one at work makes me so excited. How to explain that? I am usually such a timid little freak and then this side of me comes to the surface. Where does it come from? Why? :confused:I can't believe I just admited that to you.

I am still filled with snot and coughing worse today but am actually feeling a bit better than yesterday.

Well it has been colder today and it was sunny for awhile but now is cloudy. Not sure what the weather is going to do. Whatever it wants to I guess.

I still have some of my cold but most of it is gone thank goodness.

I just don't make a very good sick person.

What an incredible day it is today on the second day of spring. I think there may be a full moon tonight.

It is sunny and warm but with a bit of a chill in the air but incredible. OMg it is nice and I think I will get out in the woods and see what I can find.

I still am praying for the plight of the peoples in Tibet. The Chinese government is so FUCKED up.

So for those of us who celebrate today is Easter. Supposedly Christ rose today and that is the centerpiece of our whole religion thing as it were. Jesus died and then he was reborn and rose and battled death and beat death so that we might live.

I struggle with all this stuff every day and every Sunday. What does it mean for me and for my life?

A dear friend of my mothers died last week at the age of 85. She was an amazing lady and I just found out. But I am not big on funerals so not sure what I would have done differnelty. She knew how I felt about here or at least I think she did.

I spent some time in the woods yesterday and it was glorious. OMG it was so specail yesterday. Not sure exactly why but it just was. I felt full of life and full of rebirth and the approaching springtime. It was magical there.

Oh and the Chinese are putting an amazing spin on the whole uprising in Tibet. lets see they have oppressed and killed and tortured hundreds of thoushands of native Tibeteans but when the Tibetean people turn on there oppresors they make it sound like they are the agrieved party. OMG what nerve. And they blame the Dali Lama. Aman of to much peace if you ask me but they have the nerve to blame him.

They are really worried aboutthe affect this will have on their image for the Olympics. That is mostly what it is about.

The world is watching but what are we doing????

We had a dusting of snow overnight and woke up to white everywhere and very cold.

It looks so beautiful with the yellow daffodils poking their heads up out of the snow. Wish I could figure out how to post a photo and I would show you.

I have been working on my taxes. GRRRRRR. I always say I am going to do better each year with keeping my records in order and then well the year goes by and I am in the same mess I was in the year before. But it will get done.

I am going to be gone for a week starting on Friday. Going out west for a little R & R with some friends.

Yes it is true I am back from my holiday to the west coast and Vancouver.

OMG what a city. It is amazing. So many gay men it was great to see them walking the streets normally! What a sight for my virgin eyes.

The walkingw as great. The city is the fastest growing city in the world right now and is full of incredible skyscrapers and great food. Lots to see and do and it is expensive so be warned.

Lots and lots of Starbucks everywhere.

Great museums.

I felt like such a hick looking up at the tall buildings. hell the tallest building we have around here is about 3 stories so you can imagine my neck was sore.

The seaplanes and the ferries and the snow capped mountains and the harbour and houseboats.

I walked and rode the buses.

And now I am back home and sorting through the paperwork on my desk and being amazed at the flowers and trees budding out and the green color of the grass in the hayfields and on the lawn.

So much to do.

Glad to be back but it was good to get away for a bit.

OMg what a day it has been today and for the last 3 days acrually. Wow makes me wish I played golf! NOT!

I have been out in the woods working all day loading boards we cut for their trip to the kiln for drying. What a job. My arms are like jelly and I am so tired but it is a good tired.

Let's see the weather right now is partly couldy or partly sunny and has been very sunny, rainy and foggy.

It is supposed to get cold later today and tonight but this afternoon I think it will be nice.

I have gotten tons of work done this morning which makes me feel good. I love it when i plan comes together.

So I am messing around on the computer and checking out JUB and you all.

It has been awhile so far and no telling when he might show up.

We had freezing temps and snow yesterday and they are calling for very cold tonight. I am hoping and parying that it won't be below freezing long enough to damage all the flowers and buds of the fruit trees that have already set. Last year was a disaster and really hurt the apple crop around here.

So do you have your taxes done yet? Mine are finsihed and the multiple checks are writtten which has really drained my bank account and ready to take to the PO once the copy guy comes and goes. I got hit hard this year.

Keep up those Olympic torch demonstrations. I love to see the Chinese humiliated for what they have done and continue to do in Tibet and around their own country and the world. And the world lets them get away with it.

Well it looks like we may have dogged the frost bullet for the most part but time will tell on that. The temps hovered around the freezing point all night instead of dipping down into the lower 20's as predicted which would have been a killer for those tender flowers.

It looks like our bleeding hearts may have gotten it but the tulips seem OK for now.

It is supposed to be I the 70's today. WOW.

Just back from church and a bad borning sermon by our bad boring priest. I guess it is not his fault that he is such a bad preacher but I just wish he would retire or something and let someone else take over.

We had some thunder and lightning and big rain for a short time last evening but most of the day was OK.

Today is gray and cooler but not cold.

I have to drive to town later to do my grocery shopping and a few errands.

I have early voting in the NC Primary this week.

One of my all time favorite smells is the wonderful smell of fresh Lilacs. OMG I love that smell.

You would think I would hate them as my step-mother used their branches to beat us as kids and et me tell you they leave welts and hurt like crazy.

But here they are ready to burst fr=orth with blooms and release their smell to the world.

I love this time of year. Everything burts forth and life is new and so full of the promise of rebirth and renewal.

Life is good isn't it??? We just need to tell oursleves that over and over again.

Yes this week has been incredible as far as the weather goes.

Work has gone well as well.

I will be out of town for a week starting on Sunday and back a week from today.

Oh yes they do. As the weather gest warmer they start to take it off more and more and you can catch littlke bits of flesh everywhere. Great legs and arms and sometimes a chest or two and a trail and some abs and pecs.
