Anyone else been watching "Vampire Diaries" on The CW...? We watched last week and it wasn't bad... the episode tonight was rockin'! I'm thinkin' I'm hooked already! I've always had a "thing" for vampires... (I think they're HOT!) and this show with all the young hotties is feeding right into that! *|*

i am not into tv watching more active but it seems that i might hit the gym a lil less this winter
i will give it a shot. i like what i see so far

I watched the first episode.

Was pretty much what I expected, a campy Twilight knockoff, but it was enjoyable enough. I'm gonna give it a few more episodes before I make up my mind though.

I was shocked to find though that the main actors are supposed to be playing highschool-aged characters x_x

I gotta say, I really like this show. I mean, it's completely obvious the network is trying to cash in on the Twilight/True Blood craze--but this show isn't that bad. I'm in it more for the struggle between the brothers, Damon and Stefan (hot damn, btw!), than the romance aspect, but I like it so far.

And Whisperer, you are absolutely right--who are they trying to kid with this whole high-school business? They could just as easily have made them college aged. I mean the little brother is supposed to be 15? Really? oh well...

I was pleasantly surprised. The guys are cute and the special effects are good. I'll be watching every week.

Ian Somerhalder is so hot and I also love the guy playing Matt. Hell, all the guys are extremely hot! Even Jeremy. He's fucking adorable. And it doesn't hurt that Damon and Stefan had a shirtless scene in the last episode.

I'm rooting for shirtless scenes with the entire cast every week. Who's with me?

I just found out that the creator of the show is Kevin Williamson. He also created Dawson's creek and the Scream movies. I think he is openly gay, no wonder all the guys on the show are hot!

I don't love this show but don't hate it. I like it but I have to give it a few more episodes to give it a chance. It definitely is targeted towards the Twilight tween audience

I watched the premiere last week but haven't seen this week's yet.

All I can say is

Ian Somerhalder.

Dayem!

HELL YEAH!!! i was just saying in another thread that Ian never really did anything for me before this show, but he SOOOOO has my attention now!!!

to be honest, i think the show's off to a slow start, but between Ian, Paul Wesley and Zach Roerig, i'm more than willing to ride it out..|

can't remember the actor's name, but i really like the guy who plays Stefan's "uncle". anyone remember him from Nickelodeon's "Fifteen" from back in the early 90's. costarring a young Ryan Reynolds(boy's come a long ways)?

I am not expecting much yet. The first epi was good but not a good enough hook. But I am going to watch a few more epi. until I make a decision.

BUt there's alot of HOT guys!

i like this show. and i don't think it will be cancelled soon. it is getting really good ratings. i read that somewhere when i read the beautiful life got canceled.

Oh yes. Paul Wesley (the actor who plays Stefan Salvatore) is such a very pretty man. I want one for Christmas.

Me, too!

However, if he's out of stock, I'll take Jeremy (Steven McQueen)... he is such a cutie! I just wanna pull him close and ... well... !oops!

I'm really starting to like this battle between the brothers! (And the shirtless scenes with the two of them are so freakin' hot!!!)

I love the brothers--Damon more than Stefan (I always go for the bad boys). However, I find that I want to see more of Elena's friend, the witch. I just really liked the scene where she lit the candles in the dining room. Nothing fancy, just a "wtf?" moment.

I know the main girl, we were friends in high school at one point. I'm happy she's doing well.

Love it!

I don't see how this is a knockoff of Twilight though. Banking off the recent increase in interest for vampires, yes. But the show is based off the book, which, IIRC, was made years before Twilight.

I loved last night's episode, with the slam of Twilight. Had me rolling.

I admit that was a surprise, but I always had a suspicion she'd play into the super natural end of things as time went on. And what about this little scene at the end? What's so important about the pocket watch? That little 'group' has me concerned... can't wait 'til next week!

Ian's looking real good. And now he is a bad boy. I like that.

The show seems alright. The only thing worth looking at is the guys, and I seen the main girl has left Degrassi to be on this show.
