Vampire Diaries

I think the group that wants the pocket watch may be vampire hunters or at least they know that the vampires have come back.
 
I love the fact that Jasmine Guy is part of the cast now, but is she really old enough to be Bonnie's grandmother?
 
I haven't started watching this yet. I thought about downloading the episodes from iTunes to get caught up.

One question: Is it as good as Supernatural? If not, I won't bother.

And as someone who was totally obsessed with the Vampire Chronicles as a teen, I gotta say that the Anne Rice shoutout in Ep 4 = awesome. Stefan and Damon remind me so much of Louis and Lestat. Weird I hadn't realized that before. I guess that's why it's drawing me in.

Elena is kinda growing on me now that she's cut back on acting like such a tool around Stefan. And Bonnie the witch chick is so adorable.

But, like I've said previously, they need to stop rushing things. Elena is already going to confront Stefan about being a vampire next episode. I haven't read the books so I really have no idea if things move along at a similarly quick pace in the bookverse. But yeah. Slow. Down. Plz.

Due to the CW network's target audience are young (white) girls, I think they want to keep them captivated by moving the storyline along without any bizarre plot devices.
 
OMG, Who watched today. It was so fucking good! I'm surprised the show that much blood and gore!
 
OMG! I literally love this show, its so "Buffyish"

I was sad that Damon killed his uncle, it came out of nowhere but the other two things that literally had me either jumping off my seat or gasping or BOTH was when Damon SNAPPED Vicki's neck, I really thought she was a goner :( but of course she never dies LOL! She's going to be a hilarious vampire lol. The other thing was when Stephan was having flashbacks of Katherine and SHE WAS THE ONE THAT TURNED HIM INTO A VAMPIRE! Absolutely shocking, of course if I was paying attention I should have saw that coming. I like Tyler and the lack of him sucks, he's a cutie. I'm expecting Vicki to kill him one day soon and I like him :( Tyler should hook up with Bonnie or Elena's ex can, she needs a man BADLY!

Can't wait for the next eppy!
 
I loved that part! I gagged when Stephan said that the female vamp wanted the three of them to always be together. Kinky, I'm living!
 
the Damon/Vicki dancing scene was probably the best moment i've seen on the show. DAMN, that Ian's a sweet piece of ass!!!
 
Yeah, the dance scene was pretty cool... Ian has nice genes! ;)

I loved the twist where we learned that Katherine was the vampire that infected the 'boys'... I didn't see that one coming. I hope they work Jeremy into things a little more... he is fuckin' FINE! :sex:

Vampire Diaries Bromance?

Hello Boys,
On last night's episode Tyler Lockwood was sullen and moody. It seems that he was upset about ,best friend, Mat's new girlfriend. Towards the end of the episode Mat notices his bad mood and tells Tyler "I like her so stop with the Bromance Bitch act"! Could Tyler Lockwood, resident bully of Mystic Falls, be struggling with his sexuality?

If they introduce a major gay character then I'll have to praise this series above and beyond the oh-so pretty Paul Wesley's presence. I'm comfortable with that.

I want gay werewolves too damnit, lol. I was actually sensing they might do the gay angle with Tyler and Jeremy. I guess we can always hope. Supernatural gave us two men kissing last night, lets hope VD does the same only with younger and hotter guys.

OMG HE'S A WEREWOLF???? I KNEW IT! Something was definitely up with that full moon scene, I sensed it lol. I want gay werewolfs too damnit lol

This show has more sparks that Twilight ever had. The blood letting is fast and gory and chilling. The characters are pretty well drawn, the story lines inventive and interesting.
