Vegas? Oct 2-4th! Will you come?

Due to the extraordinarily low turn out so far I'm unable to secure any group rates but we're still open to suggestions on places to stay.

I stay at Bill's on Strip. It is usually the cheapest place to stay and it is right in the middle of The Strip. Also it by my next favorite place, Bellagio.

So far Me and Frankfrank. it's also my understanding from reading the most recent (last page) of the thread Sausy is still going, as well as cocktales, hotatlboi, and epic_fail if i'm not mistaken. I'm still waiting on confirmation from them.

Get off the damn fence,Devilish!I'll know for certain within a week if there are any scheduling problems at work but I mentioned having that week off to my store manager and he didn't see it a problem...if that remains the case,my boss who manages grocery usually is very accomodating with reasonable notice so I am 95% optimistic I can attend.

It isn't going to be a piece of cake financially but I can handle it(but not the Bellagio)I'm hoping a few more can get their nerve up and come and join us....though I'll be happy to meet the JUB Las Vegas contigent as well!And yep,sharing a room would be very nice for the budget...I'm sure for everyone else flying in!

I have been thinking about it, but I have also been thinking I might go for Halloween. I have to wait and see.

As it is going to be a smaller group I think we'll end up just winging the specifics, since there won't be a need for places to host more than 20 people.

But contingently there will be a meet and greet dinner friday. "something" planned for saturday and dinner/lunch. and a good-bye breakfast for sunday. All the rest will probably be "so lets figure out something to do"

Which shouldn't be too hard to do in vegas.

I will keep that in mind.


If I go I may take a friend (non JUB member) would that be a problem? He may not want to go to get to gathers anyway, but he might.

^ Well, if it's any consolation, I have zero interest in gambling. Vegas is just cheap to get to and stay at. Maybe I'll do some slot machines, but that's about it. I hope there are some entertaining shows or parks or museums around.

Could be that I'll come...even though I'm not much of a gambler I hear the shows are terrific. The strip is also going thru an intersting downturn that presents certain opportunities...plus it should be toasty but not too hot by then...

If my friend and I go (or just me) I will be seeing The Blue Man Group again. I highly recommend it.

Any JUB meets will have to wait til next year. A bear cruise is in the works for next year right now :O

Maybe next year I can go to a JUB meet too. I am also going to SJW and maybe Spring in the South and SELF too though.

But those are just in state events (except for SJW) and aren't too expensive. If by next year I am working at a better place and making more money than I'll definitely aim for saving up some money for a JUB meet.

Oh and Anaheim would be awesome. I don't believe in the whole "been there done that thing." I think it was fucking awesome last year and with the right people it could be fun again.

The real question is.

Is there going to be a JUB Meet for Atlanta Pride in October this year :O
