I may have let it slip over the years that I love a fine wine and had built up a fairly good cellar...and then, when we were updating our wills and because my partner doesn't drink at all...I was directing my wine to a best friend (because my other heirs are also disinterested), it struck me.
I could drink these.
And so I am.
I have sent one bottle I opened the other evening down the drain...it really should have been opened about 15 years ago and was just vile.
This evening I am enjoying a Faively 1er cru Chevrey Gambertin 1999 and it has kept almost perfectly. It isn't a great...
