Watch Wisconsinites Drown Out Scott Walker at State Fair Opening

I did read the article, Jack. I guess the difference between you and me is that I have the capacity to comprehend what I read and am not completely baffled by rudimentary explanations of statistical modeling.

Either Gov. Walker and the state GOP are lying and attempting to mislead, or their reading comprehension isn't so good, either.

By the way, California created over 28,000 jobs in June. I guess that means that their Democratic Governor and Democratic legislators are better at creating jobs than is Wisconsin's Republican Governor and Republican legislators, right?

No you're willingly swallowing the bullshit being fed by the government. Make believe you are a rational, logical person. Just for grins and giggles.

The government, says there are 18,000 new jobs created this month. With me so far? OK, now that same government who gave you that statistic, also tells you that Wisconsin created 9,500 jobs last month.

Now what does a logical person conclude? Well, that Wisconsin created half of the total number of jobs created last month. Pretty obvious to most people with a working brain.

Problem is the government isn't apparently run by logical people. The total number of jobs created was something like 69,000 or thereabouts from your cite. That's the number we get by adding all of the jobs produced by all 50 (not 57) states. Yet the government ignores that number and reports a total of 18,000 instead.

If you want to consider seasonal employment, or whatever else they do to come up with that number, fine. What you do to one side of the equation, you do to the other. There should then be a number for each state predicated on the 18,000 total not the 69,000 figure that the government would have us ignore, despite having provided it to us.

But that would actually be a rational thing to do. God forbid the government do that!

No.

It is a blue fist.

Why?

Are you afraid of blue people?

My suspicion is that 86.2% of that fist is white, 6.3% is black, 1% is American Indian, 2.3% is Asian and 5.9% is Latino/Hispanic.

Yes, I'm deeply concerned with the Smurf menace! :D

What do you think of Gov. Walker creating 9,500 jobs in the month of June?

California created only 28,000 while having more than six times the population of WI.

It is clear.

You really don't have a clue do you?

Any chance you could have meant these guys?

I'm the one on the far left (where else?).

You claim:
"The raised fist (also known as the clenched fist) is a salute and logo most often used by left-wing activists, such as: Marxists, anarchists, socialists, communists, pacifists, trade unionists, and black nationalists."

So in your view, I and my family, living in the San Antonio Texas, area for 150 years (that I know of), are Marxists, anarchists, socialists, communists, pacifists, trade unionists and black nationalists. According to you, I and my family would fit into that description.
In the code of conduct there is item #8. Please do not use language that sounds like, stands for, hints at, abbreviates, or insinuates hate speech (including but not limited to racial, ethnic, sexual, or religious slurs) or illegal activities.
In my view you are making that insinuation against me and my family.
I demand an apology!

Now is that the same far-left outfit that murdered two FBI agents in 1975?

BTW, in a previous post you said you had no problem with the Jewish Defense League. Now I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't know they were designated as a a hate-group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. They're also described as a terrorist group by the FBI. They also plotted to kill Congressman Darrell Issa.

This post is Exhibit One when I'm talking about the dissemination of propaganda.

It's propaganda on several levels because it's deceptive at its heart.

Why is it deceptive? It presupposes, for example, that lowering taxes is the panacea for all of the ills. Scott Walker is a disciple of this movement.

So you're denying that the Governor created 9500 jobs in June? Give me a yes or no answer.

What everyone is denying is Walker's false claim that half of the jobs added in the last month in the whole country were added in Wisconsin.

American Indian Movement
The organization was formed to address various issues concerning the Native American urban community in Minneapolis, including poverty, housing, treaty issues, and police harassment.
they also protested the United States government's failure to fulfill treaties with Indian peoples and demanded the reopening of treaty negotiations.
There was a shootout between AIM and the FBI where 2 agents were killed. There was a trial and all but one was aquitted. The one still in prison came to Wounded Knee after it was taken by AIM. So he really wasn't part of the protest.
An FBI agent was paralyzed from a gunshot wound.
a Cherokee and an Oglala Lakota were killed by shootings in April 1973
Afterward AIM leaders Dennis Banks and Russell Means were indicted on charges related to the events, but their 1974 case was dismissed by the federal court for prosecutorial misconduct, a decision upheld on appeal.
This was a protest that ended in a shootout because of law officers.

Jewish Defense League (JDL) is a gang of Jews fighting a 5 to 10000 year old battle with Arabs and later on Nazis'.
So they are listed as a hate group. DOH!

Or how about my great-great-grandfather possible killing Geo. Custer at Custer's last stand!

It's disingenuous to suggest that any one man can do that, anyway, under normal circumstances.

You could theoretically have a situation where an FDR signed a WPA bill, and directly put X amount of men to work. Or you could have a Governor X, who directly had a conversation with CEO Y, and convinced this CEO to open a plant in his state.

But all Scott Walker has done is bust some unions.

The idea that his lowering taxes (or whatever he supposedly did) has attracted boo-coo business is ridiculous, because it ignores other states where this approach has been tried, but failed miserably. (Such as Michigan, or Nevada, and so on.)

So to give Scott Walker the credit for these jobs is a deliberate lie, intended to influence thinking.

But fear not! Laika knows all of this. And he knows that his statements are deceptive. That's why I'm done with politics here—at least, for now.

If I wanted to see right-wing propaganda, I'd turn on Fox News. If I want to smell shit, I'll go to the latrine.
They're somewhat interchangeable. ;)

I'm sitting here playing a game cuz you guys are boring today.
Then I hear Ed Schultz come on talking about the election i n WI. He is covering it for MXNBC.
It is a Presidential election turnout on Aug 9th. Walker is getting screwed today.:p:badgrin:

I'm surprised the police were working for Walker. Maybe police from another state? Or one working for Koch.

That's right. Remember when the Republicons were referring to the police, the firefighters, the teachers and the nurses as "bottom feeders"?
