Watching Brad

Hi Neil - saw your post today under "Taking Care of Jason." You don't know how happy I and your legions of fans are to hear that you're still working on "Brad," even though the latest update progress is very slow, as you say. I hope, by this time, you have a representative who can turn a completed Brad into the published book it needs to be - the story is too brilliant not to. I'm well into my third read. I know that there's so much material that your story can continue to tell - so many character's stories to yet evolve. Your post today was so good to see - thanks.

hi guys, i remember signing up just to read this story.. and getting so deep in it , it was amazing..

hi guys, i remember signing up just to read this story.. and getting so deep in it , it was amazing..

Sure was a great story!!

It still is, but it has been very difficult writing. It's been a very difficult year for me. I won't go into details, but my 'difficulties' go far beyond a sore back now.

I'm not giving up on either the stories or on you, the fans. At least not voluntarily.

People are conditioned to think everything eventually gets better, or a new drug will come along. Those of us with problems beyond their experience know the reality is slim of getting "better."

Try to have a happy ho-ho. I'll be doing the adjusting entries on my ledger. It requires concentration. It's a perfect day. The phone won't ring. The telemarketers take the day off. Bah, humbug!

So good to hear from you Neil. Your messages give us Brad fans hope for a continuance. Thanks

It is great to hear from you again Neal. I am sorry you are not getting better but I understand. Take care of yourself Neal and Thank you.

Hey Neal,
This is my first post on here, and I just wanted to say how amazing "Watching Brad" is. You are a very talented writer. I hope the next installment is coming soon. Somehow I managed to read the entire story (to date) in a little over a week, it is that good.

Much love and respect,
Justin
PS. Sorry, no twin brother Jeremy here.

I started reading this at half seven I've only just managed to pull my self away, well done great story at least for what I've read so far !

I registered just so I could leave a post. I REALLY have enjoyed this story, which I just found about a week ago. I'm currently at posting #120 or so and looking forward to continuing with the story. I really identify with the story line as it pertains to Justin & Jeremy. We had twin godsons that spent about 50% of their lives at our house . . . they had a complete 2nd life at our house for many years. They joined us on many vacations, but most of the time they just "lived" with us. Neil, when you wrote the segment of the story with the twins wraping their towels around themselves post bath-time, with the towel up under their arm pits . . . I could see it as though it had happened yesterday. Neil, you really have an amazing way of capturing human nature and bring the story to life. You have provided so much joy and entertainment to so many, I hope there are many, many wonderful people providing you all the things you need in your life. The characters in this story seem so very real to me, including their flaws. Thank you for such an enjoyable read!

EdbyNumbers1047,
Welcome to JUB and the story board - and Neil's wonderful "tome".

Edbynumbers, I'm now completing my fourth read and when I finish, I'm sure I'll start my 5th. I continue to be one of those hopefuls that Neil will some day be able to continue the saga and never pen, The End.

I got to thinking, since I didn't get notification of "Taking Care of Jason" and had to re-subscribe, I should check this. Sure enough I had to re-subscribe to this one as well. I guess I need to go way back through Stories because I've only got one notice since JUB's software change. I encourage all the readers to check to see if you are getting notified.
Computers are wonderful at remembering but when something goes wrong they get amnesia :(

OMG Neil, so good to see your recent post to Jason - gives a fresh breath of life to us "Brad" fans. I'm in my 7th read, determined to simply keep re-reading until you're able to post 222 whenever God permits. Best to you and regards.....

Beginning my ninth read of Watching Brad Neil. Your March posting to Jason still gives me hope that Brad will live again. Regards

I know Neil hasn't given up on our boys - in any of the three stories - just hard going for him.
