Is it true that if you keep waxing or plucking your hair it will eventually stop growing in that area?

Yes. This is absolutely true regarding the plucking of eye brows. Ask any professional cosmetician.
i can understand taking care of the uni-brow but when guys wax their brows pencil thin it's just so womanly. does anyone find thin obviuosly waxed eyebrows attractive? or is it just me?WOOOOH i totally disagree lol.
some of us "men" have eyebrows that are outta control, and we just need to keep them in check.
so think of it as disciplining our hair ;-)
lol.

Waxing/plucking will affect regrowth. It may not stop it, but it will thin the hair over time, and the trauma to the hair folicles may affect the pattern of regrowth.
Ever notice old women who have no eyebrows and have to draw them in? They didn't just randomly go bald in that one spot, you know.
Maybe the older womans eyebrow hairs just move south to above the lips?
