I'm not exactly sure where this post is going, so bear with me.
Two years ago my boyfriend proposed to me, during a romantic trip to Italy where his sister got married to her lesbian partner. We had been together 28 years at that point, so we planned our wedding ceremony to co-incide(somewhat) with our 30th anniversary as a couple. The day is creeping up--our wedding date is Nov.24th, and i am kind of freaking out. We have the basics covered, a place for the ceremony and reception, but all the other details are crazy-making. Today we dealt with invitations. Also dealing with caterer, decorations,etc.. Not to mention we still have to write our vows! What have we gotten ourselves into?! I know that I am complaining too much . \One of the reasons (among many) that we are doing this is that we truly believe in equal marriage rights for all. And I guess heterosexuals, too, go crazy when they are making wedding plans!
