Weirdest thing someone said to you when you told them you were gay.

Well i have this ex gf of mine who is now one of my best friends and i was at her house spending the night and we were talking about some people we went to school with, some we both were friends with but now im not because they just stopped talking to me. Well anyways she said i think i know why they stopped talking to you, i was like well i have an idea (because i did). She goes well im not sure but i wondered if it was true and asked me the question"Are you bisexual ?"
At first i wasnt sure how to answer because i wasnt planning on telling her anytime soon. Well she told me she wouldnt have a problem with it if i was so i told her the truth that i was bisexual and i have done stuff with guys before. She basically goes " So now i can show you pictures of guys and see if you think they are hot ?" I just laughed and said yes i can and that was the end of it.

I heard them all. Only a few of them have been completely positive. Some are neutral and most are negative.

"How do you know for sure. Aren't you a little young?"
"You don't even look gay."
"You don't talk gay."
"You're not gay!"
"I'm worried about you getting AIDS."

"Why don't you go and talk to that girl over there?"
"It's probably because you had a dominant mother and distant father."
"You used to play with dresses when you were younger so it makes sense." (I hate when people do this, even if it was true, being gay and being "feminine" doesn't go hand in hand.)

This isn't directed towards me personally but when I told this girl that I was, I mentioned that a former classmate who she had suspected of being gay actually was as well. I was curious as to why she thought that to which she responded, "I don't know, his clothes just fit him too well."

I just thought it was the most ridiculous thing.

I got a good giggle out of this. When I was a kid I had a Bionic Man action figure, and it had this lever you press in his back to make his arm raise up. So, of course, all the shirts had button holes in the back for the lever. Well, my grandmother was upset that my doll had holes in his clothes so she sewed them all up. Then he had a hump. Then she felt bad for ruining his outfits so she knitted him a new outfit... out of the only color yarn she had... pink.

So, as a joke I always blamed my grandmother for "turning" me (and my Bionic Man doll) gay.

Well, I've only told my best friend so far, and she just hugged me tightly and said "Big deal ! Who cares ?" and I said "Umm...EVERYBODY ?!", and she just laughed and kept squeezing me...

...she's still kinda got the hots for me even though she knows by now that I'm gay.She (very) frequently tells me how good I look and how sexy and how this and that.. And she always says "Are you SURE you don't wanna try anything with a girl cuz...", and I'm like "Yeah, I know, I know, you'd be more than willing to !", and we both laugh ! At the beginning it was kinda weird but now it's like an insider joke or something !

And the other time was when I came out to the guy I was in love with (and still am to some extent...I mean, I CAN live without him , but if he ever said he wants to have sex or be with me or anything, I'll be there !)

...Well anyway, he's the guy I fell madly in love with, he was a schoolmate of mine. Not in the same class but in the same school year...Anyways, he was drop-dead gorgeous and I mean not just good-looking...I mean SUPERHUMANLY good-looking, like a Photoshop product or something ! Pretty much all girls at school drooled over him and I'm sure quite a few guys too...although in private probably !

And he was that really rough'n'tough, rugged, macho man kinda type so I was always intimidated of him. WHEN I finally mustered the courage to tell him I'm in love with him, which was after 2 years of silent suffering,it was SOOOO awkward !

I've been really confused these past couple months and a week ago I decided to tell a close female friend of mine whats been going through my mind. She noticed something was bothering me while we were on the phone. I thought it would help me to just let everything out. The close friend I decided to tell was my ex-girlfriend from last year who I've been hooking up with a couple times recently. The beginning of our conversation was like this

Me: *Telling her the possibility of me being bi or maybe even gay, and explaining it to her*
*Awkward Silence*
Me: Uh... Hello? ... I knew I shouldn't have told you...
Friend: What no!? Its okay? Its just that I'm shocked!
Me: Really? I mean I tried dropping a couple hints but...
Friend: No, I mean you can't be, I know you're straight.
Me: Huh? How?
Friend: You kiss like a straight boy... I mean its like.... You kiss like a straight boy.
Me: What? How can you tell from a kiss?
Friend: I can't explain it just... you don't look or act it, and you kiss like a straight boy!

We went through about 30 minutes of her trying to telling me that I'm straight because of the way I kiss. It was kinda funny to me. She actually took it pretty well in the end and she accepted it. Felt good to finally tell someone.

When he graduated from college and began working, his mother called him frantically from her office one day at his office. "Come over to my office quick!" Dropping everything, he rushed over to her office, barged in and said "What's the matter?"

"Look at this, she said pointing to the window--I don't know anyone besides you who would enjoy this more than me." (It was a group of college guys playing basketball shirtless). lol
