Well, it's Friday night. Are YOU going out???

Oddly, there's a huge party just down the street. It's in celebration of a business being open for many years, and they invited everybody who worked there for a significant bit of time, me included. I got the celebration cakes for the party, and stopped by just long enough to say hi to several people...then headed back home. It's cold and rainy, and I was more in the mood to spend the evening in bed with good music and a good book than at a party.

followed by drinks at the bar for my boyfriend's roommate's boyfriend's birthday (and I'm hoping and praying that my best friend doesn't come with us... if I had known she was bringing her boyfriend tonight, I would have made an excuse to not go out)
 
Thank God it's Friday and thank God I don't have any desire to leave the house. I must watch Bill Maher live on HBO define our congressional cluster fuck.

No, I thought about going to a movie, but procrastinated and it's too late and I don't really care. Tomorrow I am going to a modern dance/ballet program.
 
Spent quite enough money lately so prolly not though it is fetish night at cc's....sortof.
 
No, but going to a charity event tomorrow, and then probably going to pride.
 
I went to a movie and then dinner, but didn't feel like the usual bar crawl tonight. My boyfriend just rolled in from the taxi in his usual blind drunk state and is now safely upstairs.

the result was spending a good part of Saturday meeting and visiting with who used to be "RazorzEdge88" here. Very cool guy, who is coming along greatly with that he's trying to accomplish in school, but he will be very happy when he gets to leave his particular college town, exchanging that for hopefully a bigger and more diverse place where...you know...some cool stuff actually goes on. There isn't even a gay bar where he is studying right now. And yes, our conversations included some considerable viewpoints on C E & P type stuff and we generally agree.
 
tired from a short week. staying in. rare saturday I have to work.
 
nah... I had plans, but I'm pretty sick. I was going to soldier on, but I got home from work tonight, tried to take a nap, and completely slept through my alarm clock and friends calling me :(
