Well, there goes a big piece of my self-respect

Like I said, I have a backpack for that but it's big... my laptop is a 17" Macbook. I don't always want to walk around town looking like a sherpa.

I just want something for the necessary things like my phone, my wallet, my epipen, my contact lens case and solution, car keys, house keys, office keys, a book, an iPad when I get one...
 
A bag designed for the Ipad? Isn't that just begging for someone to mug your ass?!
 
I got an iPhone so I wouldn't have to carry around an iPod and a phone and a Palm Pilot.

I'm trying to simplify my life.

We need monster houses with monster SUVs with monster bags to carry around all our crap. We are so dependent on crap.

And then we rent a storage unit to store more crap.

And then we ignore the people around us because we're txting one friend on our portable crap while sitting next to another one.

Just get a beautiful leather iPad case (when they come out) with an extra pocket or two for essentials.

With all the money you blow on stuff like silly shoes, designer man bags, christmas decorations and clothes for your dog why haven't you invested in lasic eye surgery?? :confused: Using contacts sucks (i know... i use them) and you seem like you can defenitely afford it.

I remember you posting a video christmas shopping and talking about buying christmas decorations and a GI. Joe doll to use on the top of your tree.

Anyway, point is why aren't you getting lasic surgery? Seems like a good investment. I can't wait to get it done in the future.
 
I feel your pain Jasun. I too lug a lot of stuff around and it would make perfect sense to carry one but I just can't bring myself to do it. A friend of mine kept threatening to give me one as a Christmas gift and I was sort of hoping they'd follow through so I could give it a try but alas they did not. :)

a GI Joe doll that costs 5 bucks, I would submit, is a smaller investment than eye surgery.

And I'm still not sure where you got that I bought clothes for my dog (which I've never done unless you consider a collar to be clothing).

Nice to know you read my blog, though.

My epi pen? Yeah... I kinda have to keep that with me all the time.

half my income comes from blogging so having an iPad that will allow me to do that a bit easier... that's something I'm going to want to have with me.

I read a lot.. so having a book with me.. pretty important.

House keys? I need those. Car keys and office keys? Those kinda have to come with me too.
