Well, this is a bit embarrassing

This is a photo which I have had in my 'collection' for many, many years now. It's an edited (i.e. 'cropped') photo of Frank Evans who is sitting atop his partner-of-the-moment, Jeff.

I was looking at it a few minutes ago and I noticed something for the first time: The picture was taken outside! There are trees and the sky and a rooftop in the photo!!

Depending on what the rest of the photo looks like, I could understand completely missing the background details.

I would say, based on the left side background and the vase,

inside in front of picture window. No goosebumps or erected

nipples to indicate the outdoors....

just my guess of course. Still, some involved.

I think it is an indoor pic and the tree in the background is just an indoor plant. I might have the rest of the series since I collect vintage pics. Will check into it later.

Its your picture and you've looked at it a lot more and longer. The larger

picture wasn't available when I responded and the larger picture makes

me think of a feather bed mattress in a cabin with the picture window

overlooking the lake without the chill, bugs or mosquitoes. I love the

Great Outdoors......on my terms.

Okay, I found another photo from the series which clearly shows a bedside table with a lamp on it (the 'vase') and long drapes.

It is an indoor scene taken in front of a huge picture window.

Mills: Why was it embarrassing? I never noticed the trees before.

As I mentioned above, I've enjoyed that series many times over the past few years and today is the first time I noticed the trees and the house in the background. I'd always thought I was more observant than that.
