Though I never met him, and there was very little likelihood that I ever would, I became very fond of Chris. And, he was very fond of me...he regarded me as family. Perhaps a Big Brother, anyway we were both strongly in each others' loops.

We were exchanging PMs and/or emails nearly every day since sometime in fall (November'ish?).

I've left it up to willhunt to send my condolences to the rest of Chris' posse, and to any others who were important or dear to him. This is a devastating loss. He was here to give love to the world, and he left us with that legacy.

In #225 I never made it clear that this was a copy of what I posted in the Hot Topics thread about this terrible event.

ballcaphair was as real it gets and had a kind soul.
He told me didn't post any naughty photos because his twin didn't like finding photos floating around the net so he deferred to him.
I can't recall that he ever made a single negative remark.......he always chose to see the good and ignore the bad.
Would that there were more like him.

Let me put it this way ...

Through my personal, behind the scenes, interactions with Chris and Will, I am more than confident, and convinced, of their veracity and reality. I am finding it hurtful that some are bringing that into question.

However, I can also understand that some who did not have the privilege of getting to know them may have their own doubts. As Will would say, "I get that". However, that doesn't lessen the pain.

My condolences to all his Family and Friends. It is a terrible loss for someone so young. He and all who knew him will be in my thoughts and prayers. He and I would have some friendly banter in F&G and I will miss that.

Thank you Chaz, DP in Nice, Rareboy, P on me, 72-Jay and others who have accepted and who mourn. I went to BCH's page and went through his album, read the comments and the banter between him and Will.

I came across a picture on which I commented ~ this looks too young, and on which he responded ~ No, I must be 18. He sent a PM later in which he stated he loved the JUB, he'd matured with JUB and the friends he'd made here. To me he was always genuine, always passionate, always engaged. I will sorely miss him. My heart goes out to Will, the #3 twin.

There apparently isn't any specific memorial fund established in his memory or name.

The Honnold Foundation was what I was given. You can Google it. I think stating that here is not the same as a direct solicitation, which is against JUB's CofC.

Will also requested giving to JUB.
