What are some good gay movies?

Anybody recommend some good gay movies? They're so hard to find.

I thought Latter Days was good.

I kind of enjoyed 'Sordid Lives.' The gay aspect of the film isn't so great, but the whole family aspect is pretty funny. Bonnie Bedelia and Delta Burke are great.

Latter Days is good. The Brits have a few real jewels, primarily Get Real and my personal favorite movie dealing with the subject, Beautiful Thing. Another great film is A Home at the End of The World.

I would also recommend Total Eclipse, a film chronicling the often tragic relationship between French poets Paul Verlaine and Arthur Rimbaud.

Heights is nice, I don't even wanna try and explain it, James Marsden, Jesse Bradform, Glenn Close, its a drama James Marsden plays this guy that has a fiance and is about to get married real soon, Glenn Close is his soon to be mother in law, there's something happens that you seen in the past that James was a model w/ this famous photographer,who was gay, and had a reputation of having relationships with all of his male models, I forget ho this comes up but he tries hiding it from his fiance, and the mother in law hosts a party, sees this book of models and sees several of his pics in it, and I don't know I'm end up giving sway the whole damn story, watch it, its really good, its an indie film.......

Same here I think it is worth mentioning Happy Endings to you. If you have not see it I think you should give it a shot. Another Don Ross film Lisa Kudrow saem dark humor and some intresting gay stroies going on.

People have talked about "Get Real" and "Beautiful Lie" both great films.

I will mention two french gems "Just A Question Of Love" with the tagline "Do we really love our children as much as we say we do". and the film "Come Undone".

Latter Days, Edge Of 17, Trick, Shortbus, LIE and Mysterious Skin are all pretty diffrent American out puts but all a nice watch.

If you do not mind lesbains "Boy Dont Cry" and "Moster" are stella films.

Brokeback Mountain is a fave of course. A Mexican film "Burnt Money" about two gay (real life) criminals called the twins is another personal fave film of mine.

A really gay cheesy movie is Eating Out. I've heard it's good but I haven't seen it myself.

L.I.E. I don't now if you can call it gay but it is v. good.

Also Get Real is awesome. Eating Out is bizarre. Latter Days is effecting. Presque Rien is baffling. The Trip is sad. The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green is average. Jeffrey is good. Beautiful Thing is depressing. The Opposite of Sex is amazing. Krampak aka Nico and Dani is all right. Head on is not so good. Like it is is effective. The Living End is crazy.

As Good as it Gets is just ok. Bedrooms and Hallways was also just ok. Before Night Falls was tremendously depressing. Bent is also depressing. Broken Hearts Club A Romantic Comedy is one of the best. Chuck and Buck is dodgy. Another Gay Movie has it's moments. Shelter is apparently good.

Last one(s): Trick. Christian Campbell is lovely and super fine. John Paul Pitoc is gorgeous and hot. And The Fluffer. The guy who colours his hair near the end has one of the best asses I have seen.

A bad gay movie (there are always some) would be Velvet Goldmine. It has almost nothing good to recommend it. Christian Bale and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are gorgeous though.

I saw Shelter after reading the thread about it in this forum.
It is now my favourite movie.
Worth seeing.

km.0 was really good.

HEAD ON is pretty good too.

My all-time fave is still PARTING GLANCES.
