What are some good gay movies?

Shelter is pretty good. I had a friend that used to always go on about how great Trick was, but I've never seen it myself. Maybe someone here has?..............

A movie that you should avoid though is Adam & Steve. It is beyond terrible... and approaches offensive at times.

Trick had it's funny moments for sure, but I wouldn't classify it as a good movie by any means.

C.R.A.Z.Y. and Shelter are both excellent movies (imo) that I watched back-to-back on a whim on a sleepless night in the not-too-distant past. C.R.A.Z.Y. for its realism and Shelter because I can strongly empathize with the main character. I'm just glad I watched them in the order I did...

first gay movie was Philadelphia. -.- it was not really gay, it was more about a gay men who has AIDS and got fired out of his job cus of it.

but thanks for this thread cus I been wanting to watch some other gay movies. i could just go down the list...

I loved Shelter!!! Very romantic. And it sort of reminded me of my own coming out in a sense. Great great movie.

I love Mambo Italiano! A lot of my gay friends hate on it but I love it. It's funny. It's cute. Has a nice ending. The lead character's family is hilarious!

I wastched a movie with some friends; Summer Storm... It was a german film I think... I didn't care for it at all. But everyone else seemed to love it.

Am I the only person who really disliked Shelter?! lol everyone praises it so much, but I found it depressing and a downer. Something about it just left me feeling irritated...

Shelter was possibly the least depressing movie I have ever seen. It's all about earning acceptance from others by learning to accept yourself. It was wonderful!


...And that's all I have to say about that.
